“Amanda was an amazing sitter. She took care of my dog Teddy brilliantly. I received wonderful photos each day from her as well. Can’t say enough about how responsible and caring Amanda was. I would have her back in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and genuinely love spending time with them. I have had a cat since I was five years old and multiple dogs since I was seven, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I have pet sat for neighbors, family, and friends while they were away on long trips, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure their pets felt safe and comfortable at home. I always have both the pet’s and the owner’s best interest in mind, and I truly love helping animals whenever they need care, attention, or patience. I understand that every animal has a different personality, and I always take the time to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, which has made me even more passionate about giving back and helping animals in any way I can. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and nervous at first, I will always treat them with kindness, patience, and lots of love. I am currently EMT school, studying to get my EMT license so my days consist of reading and studying. Additionally, I am a college athlete so I do try to work out almost every day and live in active lifestyle. I do not currently have a job because I am in EMT school, which means my schedule is extremely flexible and I would be able to bring study materials to your home or take breaks to come take care of the pets anytime! I always prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a pretty big backyard with a tall fence, so I can easily accommodate your animals and give them space to safely play and explore. I always make sure pets stick to their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and secure while their owners are away. I am very patient with new animals and always take the time to learn their personalities, needs, and comfort levels. Your pet’s safety will always come first, and I will make sure they are always on a leash, walked only in the areas you designate, and placed in any crate or area you prefer when needed. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I will always treat them like my own and keep both the pet’s and owner’s best interests in mind.

“She’s just the best. Our animals are happy, healthy and well taken care of. We feel safe leaving them with her—it’s the best you could ask! Thanks again Magdalena”
“Iva was a fantastic dog sitter. My pups were happy and healthy when I returned and she even went above and beyond with washing the linens before leaving. Absolutely will be using her again.”

“Willow was amazing. I am always an overbearing pet parent to my kiddos and she was so sweet always answering my texts and sending me pictures every day. Truly the best!”

“Ras is awesome to work with! She is responsive and flexible. It was clear during our meet and greet and her messages while spending time with my pups that she has experience in working with all types of dogs and I feel confident in her ability to take great care of them. I look forward to continuing to work with her!”

“Kate was amazing. She stayed overnight to care for our cat while we were away. She was very communicative, responsible, and took great care of our cat. I highly recommend.”

“Cienne took great care of my pups! She stayed at my home and sent lots of updates which I love. My girls looked very happy and comfortable. Will definitely have her over again!”

“Amiah did a great job taking care of the house and of our Cattledog Bo. He took right to her and maybe was just a bit disappointed when we got home and she wasn’t here! LOL We got updates and pictures while away and she was very flexible when our flight was delayed and we were a day late getting home.”

About: I have always grew up around dogs, both big and small so I have experience with walking them, caring for them, bathing them, etc. I currently have a dog of my own who I have had since I was 11. Right now I am in school so I only plan to do extended petsitting on weekends until the start of my summer but I do not have any other job so I will be able to give your pet my full time and attention! In the past I have fostered multiple cats from Austin Pets Alive in recent hears and I love being with cats, I am very open to caring for cats as well! I am currently in school until the end of may so right now my schedule for extended pet sitting will only be on weekends, though my weekends will be extremely flexible!! Over summer I will be free everyday and have the same level of flexibility! I will always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while I am caring for them. I'll follow their usual routines, pay attention to what their needs, and make sure that the space is clean and safe! I also love sending updates and photos/videos so that you know your pet is doing great and will never have to worry!!
About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and helped watch pets for friends and family for several years. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy and vocal dogs since I’ve owned a Husky and a Sheltie, so barking, excitement, and big personalities don’t bother me at all. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs (even for free while dog sitting) because it’s calming for both me and the dog (as long as the owner is okay with it). I also take pet safety seriously. One dog I was caring for had eaten something it shouldn’t have before the owners left town. While dog sitting, I noticed the dog was acting unusual and decided to take it to the emergency vet right away while keeping the owner updated throughout the process. The dog ended up being okay, and I always try to stay attentive, calm, and communicative when caring for a pet. I recently graduated and am currently searching for jobs, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available every day of the week and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day! I always try to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed whether I’m in my home or the owner’s home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, walks, medications, and anything else the owner wants done a specific way. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. I’m very attentive to unusual behavior and believe in keeping owners updated if anything seems off. I also respect people’s homes and try to leave everything exactly how I found it.

“Christine has been a great sitter for my two dogs- one who can be very slow to trust sitters and she always keeps me informed with pictures and dogs are happy!”

“Josh was great. This was my first time to use his house/dog sitting services and won't be the last. He introduced my dog to new friends and kept the house clean and tidy. Thanks so much!”

“Genna did a fantastic job watching our two pups for 5 days while we went on vacation. We received multiple updates each day and pics. She was great with communicating. She left the house spotless and even took out the garbage for pickup without us asking. Our pups are happy and so are we. We will be booking again with Genna.”

About: I’ve raised multiple dogs from puppies into adulthood, including both small breeds like corgis all the way up to large, high-energy dogs such as Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. Because of that, I have real hands-on experience with different temperaments—including dogs that can be reactive, sensitive, or need extra structure. What sets me apart is my ability to read behavior and stay calm in situations where other sitters might feel overwhelmed. I understand triggers, boundaries, and how to safely manage dogs that need more attention or careful handling. I’ve also cared for dogs in multi-dog households, so I’m used to balancing different personalities and preventing conflict. I’m comfortable with: • High-energy dogs that need consistent exercise • Puppies learning routines and boundaries • Reactive or easily overstimulated dogs • Crate training and structured environments • Feeding routines (including picky eaters) I focus on creating a safe, calm, and positive environment for every dog. Whether your dog needs playtime, structure, or just someone patient and attentive, I’ll make sure they feel secure and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I prioritize building my schedule around the pets I’m caring for. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extended stays, and I make sure each pet gets the time and attention they need rather than rushing through visits. I also keep my availability updated and communicate clearly, so you always know when I’ll be there. Whether your dog needs consistent daily care or occasional help, I’m happy to work around your routine to make things as smooth as possible. I am also open to last-minute requests when available. I provide attentive, structured care with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and your pet’s overall well-being. Before any booking, I take the time to understand your dog’s routine, preferences, and any behavioral or medical considerations to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience. In your home, I maintain a respectful, professional presence and follow all care instructions with precision—feeding schedules, walk routines, crate use, and household expectations. I’m highly mindful of safety at all times, including secure leash handling, awareness of surroundings, and ensuring doors and gates are properly managed. I’m experienced with a wide range of temperaments, including high-energy and reactive dogs, and I approach each situation with calm, controlled handling. I prioritize avoiding overstimulation and maintaining an environment where your dog feels secure and at ease. If care is provided in my home, I offer a clean, calm, and well-managed space with close supervision. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully and can always be separated if needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Communication is consistent and transparent—you’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in capable, attentive hands.
“Kate is incredible, we are so lucky to have found her in Austin. Thank you for the incredible care of our sweet crew and I’m so glad they have such wonderful care while we are away!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 14 years old. I love animals, and I am super dependable and reliable! I’ve watched dogs and cats of all ages, and I would love to help you out with all your pet-sitting needs! I work fully remote for a marketing agency, so I have a flexible schedule and have the ability to spend lots of time with your four legged friends. I love taking dogs on walks and car rides for pup cups, but also have lots of experience with home bodied dogs who just need snuggles and love. Because I have been pet sitting for years, I am really great with animals. I understand the importance of communication, so I will make sure to take care of your pet(s) exactly how you’d like!
Barton Creek pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mara saved us when our previous cat sitter canceled on the day we were leaving for a trip. I reached out and within 15 min Mara had called me and offered to drive 40 min to our house immediately to meet us and the cats. She was an amazing sitter - gave us updates, and left our house SO spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed having Whitney pet-sit our pup in our home while we traveled out of the country. She is an incredibly responsible pet sitter with a calm, reassuring personality that helped ease our anxious pup during the first few days we were away. Our dog usually barks at new people, but she was completely comfortable with Whitney from the start and wasn’t reactive during either of the two meet-and-greets. That gave us so much peace of mind before our trip. We will absolutely use Whitney again in the future. Thank you, Whitney!

Sophie was amazing with my little Rhino!! She was professional, attentive, and took the time to understand Rhino's needs. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates and photos, which reassured me that my pup was happy and well-cared for. When I returned, Rhino was in great spirits, proving that he was in loving hands. I’ll definitely book Sophie again!!

Wesley was absolutely fantastic from the very start! You can tell right away that he has spent plenty of time around dogs — his calm and confident demeanor made our pups feel safe almost instantly. One of our dogs usually barks at anyone who comes into the house, but to our surprise, she went straight to Wesley with zero hesitation. That told us everything we needed to know about how comfortable she felt with him! He not only took great care of our dogs but also kept our home safe and in perfect condition. Wesley is incredibly responsive, respectful, and professional — communication was always quick and clear. We felt at ease the entire time knowing everything was in good hands. We’re definitely going to be repeat customers and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets and home.
