About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs has been a part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three dogs and was responsible for feeding them every morning and night, walking them daily, and helping care for them as they got older. Through that experience, I've become comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I've also helped families in my neighborhood with their pets by walking, feeding, brushing, and stopping by to let them out when needed. As my own dogs entered their senior years, I gained experience giving medication and learned how important patience and a slower pace can be for older dogs. In addition, I've volunteered with Austin Pets Alive!, where I spent time walking shelter dogs and giving them attention and companionship. Those experiences have made me confident, dependable, and attentive to each dog's individual needs. Most importantly, I genuinely love being around dogs and enjoy making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently based in Austin for the summer. While I do have a few trips planned and may be out of town occasionally, I have very few regular commitments throughout the week, which gives me a highly flexible schedule. I am available most days and at a wide range of times, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so dog walking fits naturally into my routine. I am dependable, responsive, and happy to work with pet owners to accommodate their scheduling needs whenever possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and stick to their normal routine. I'll make sure they're fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, and get the exercise and playtime they need. I love spending time outside with dogs, whether that's playing fetch, running around, going on walks, or just keeping them company. I'm happy to follow any instructions specific to your pet's needs and routine. If needed, I can crate your dog before I leave, make sure they've settled after meals before playing, and keep an eye on their overall comfort and well-being. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always treat them with the same care and attention I'd want for my own.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and genuinely love spending time with them. I have had a cat since I was five years old and multiple dogs since I was seven, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I have pet sat for neighbors, family, and friends while they were away on long trips, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure their pets felt safe and comfortable at home. I always have both the pet’s and the owner’s best interest in mind, and I truly love helping animals whenever they need care, attention, or patience. I understand that every animal has a different personality, and I always take the time to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, which has made me even more passionate about giving back and helping animals in any way I can. I am currently EMT school, studying to get my EMT license so my days consist of reading and studying. Additionally, I am a college athlete so I do try to work out almost every day and live in active lifestyle. I do not currently have a job because I am in EMT school, which means my schedule is extremely flexible and I would be able to bring study materials to your home or take breaks to come take care of the pets anytime! I always prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a pretty big backyard with a tall fence, so I can easily accommodate your animals and give them space to safely play and explore. I always make sure pets stick to their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and secure while their owners are away. I am very patient with new animals and always take the time to learn their personalities, needs, and comfort levels. Your pet’s safety will always come first, and I will make sure they are always on a leash, walked only in the areas you designate, and placed in any crate or area you prefer when needed. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I will always treat them like my own and keep both the pet’s and owner’s best interests in mind.

We like to build trust through play, learn every dog breed behaviors, motivators, and create fun activities by applying positive reinforcement training to establish a communication and understanding in an outdoor environment. Positive reinforcement training is an established evidence based training that includes a clicker and rewards such as treats to reinforce behaviors. We’re also familiar with certain toy precautions, food and environmental allergy precautions so we try to implement mindfulness practices on this with our treat selections. Throughout the day we will provide picture updates and texts to let you know how they are adjusting or day is going. If we go on group walks or hikes please let us know beforehand about the status of your dogs vaccinations for this is extremely important and we hope that the severity of this necessity is known for your dogs health and others.
