“Leslie is a top notch professional dog sitter and I highly recommend her! While I was away she gave me regular updates on how my dog was doing which included pictures and video. When I got back to my home I was speechless - the trash was taken out, my bed was made, and towels were folded and sorted. I felt very secure leaving my dog in Leslie’s care and needless to say I will be trusting her again in the future!”

About: As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I’m very patient, dependable, and attentive to all types of animal personalities, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same love and care I’d want for my own. We have two sweet dogs of our own that are friendly to all dogs and people, and are always up to date on necessary vaccinations. We live in a 1,400 sq ft townhome in the heart of Clarksville, and although we no longer have a yard, we have a large open green space right next to our complex and are just a block away from a dog park that we use constantly. Since I'm home all day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and love throughout their stay! (Plus lots of pictures of them to send your way!) Since I'm home all day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and love throughout their stay! This also allows me to provide flexible scheduling and attentive care for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting needs. I always try to keep pets on the routine they're used to, whether they're staying in my home or I'm caring for them in theirs. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other preferences the owner provides. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and have plenty of attention, supervision, and opportunities for play and relaxation. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to respect both the pet's routine and the owner's space while providing lots of love, care, and updates along the way.
“Woody is the best! We think our dogs might like her more than us! We always know they are in the best care, getting so much love and engagement. Woody is also very clean, tidy, and takes care of our home, which is always so appreciated.”

“Amanda is a wonderful pet sitter. She stayed and took great care of our senior dogs including our oldest who has high needs (deaf, arthritic). Amanda communicated daily and included a picture of our doggies.”
“Jena is a wonderful pet sitter! I insisted she make herself at home while she house/pet-sat my doggo and kitty (have as many snacks as you like!), and she treated both my pets and home with great care. She sent photos and updates on the girls throughout my trip and asked questions as needed. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Jena again for future trips.”
About: I’ve grown up caring for my own dogs, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, fresh water, and bath time. I also trained my most recent puppy, so I have experience with basic commands and positive reinforcement. Over the past few years, I’ve pet sat for neighbors multiple times, caring for their pets like they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently a senior in high school, but I have a flexible schedule and am available most early mornings, weeknights, and weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get the care and attention they need. I always try to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress free. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special needs, while also giving them plenty of attention and affection. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and lots of love while you’re away. In my own home, I create a safe, calm, and pet friendly environment where they can relax, play, and feel at home. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they love lots of interaction or prefer their own space! Crating is available and I have a large front and back yard!
“Paige did an excellent job taking care of my pup while I was away. Since it was an international trip, it was a huge relief. Paige is very organized, asked lots of questions before the sit, and also set clear expectations. Communication during the sit was excellent as well. All-in-all, Paige's outstanding pet-sitting made for a stress free trip, knowing KBlue was well cared for.”

I really appreciate it having Bailey with Jasper well we were away. She stayed over at the house since my dog is older and I'd figure he would be more comfortable in his own house. She kept him company during her stay and also was very communicative when the AC started malfunctioning. I am so grateful she was there and was flexible and helpful about the whole situation. Jasper was very well taken care of and I can tell she loves what she does. I definitely recommend Bailey to petsit and will absolutely use her again.

Paige was an outstanding sitter for my guy Petey. She consistently kept me in the loop with texts, photos, and videos. When my flight was canceled last minute and I needed to have Petey looked after another day she was flexible with her schedule and was able to help me out! I would absolutely recommend Paige for any kind of pet sitting you are looking for. She is top-notch.

Ja was a great communicator, sent lots of pics of our dog, and left our house in excellent condition. I felt particularly bad for not setting up our house code properly when we left, which had her stuck outside our house for a half hour, but she was gracious about it and loved on our dog. Thank you Ja for helping us out, and on short notice to boot!

Elle is absolutely the best! She keeps us updated daily with photos and videos, and her attention to detail is incredible. Our house is always cleaner than when we left, and our dogs absolutely adore her! It’s such a comfort to travel knowing our dogs are happy, loved, and receiving the very best care.

We could not be happier with the incredible care our dog received from Marley! From start to finish, she was so responsible and communicative, keeping us updated the entire time we were away. It gave us total peace of mind knowing our dog as so well loved, safe, and happy. We also came home to a clean house which is so nice. Highly recommend Marley!

Natalie stayed at our house and took incredible care of our puppy, Peach! She was communicative, sent daily photos, and cared for/trained/played with Peach perfect. She also kept our house in perfect condition. We highly recommend her to any Rover dog owners! 🐶 🍑

Marina was incredible with Ruger. She sent photo updates that put us completely at ease and you could tell he was having the best time. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly adores dogs. We’d 100% recommend her and we’re so grateful we chose her. If I lived in Austin she would be my choice every time and when we visit there again I will request her every time.

Gustavo was the best house and dog sitter we’ve had and we’ve used quite a few sitters through Rover. He sent multiple pictures and updates every day which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious our dogs were well cared for and loved. We would absolutely book Gustavo again and highly recommend him!

If you want a great pet sitter, look no further! Aaron was a fantastic pet/house sitter for my 2 boys. It was my first time using Rover, and I couldn't have asked for a better choice in pet sitter. Aaron was very patient with all my questions & concerns. My place was also left very tidy when I returned home at the end of my trip. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

Lauren was incredibly communicative and responsive. She kept me updated throughout the evening and sent tons of adorable pictures of Roxy, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear from the photos and her messages that Lauren genuinely cares about the animals she watches. She seemed so loving and attentive with Roxy, giving her the comfort and attention she needed while I was gone. Knowing that Lauren was spending the night with her made me feel so much better about leaving my girl behind. . I highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Rollingwood walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Rollingwood maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Rollingwood choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rollingwood. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
