About: I’ve always grown up with dogs, worked at a vet clinic when I was younger, and became a doggie foster as an adult. I have experience caring for senior pups as well. I'll treat your pup as a loved family member. Rest assured, your fur baby will be in good hands. I am mostly a stay a home mom. I take my dog to the dog park daily, and when the weather is nice we will walk Town Lake. I have cameras in my home and on the property. If I am not home I can take a look at how the dogs are doing. I also have a fenced in yard.

About: We're a family of four with two little girls (ages 4 and 2) and a stinky cute old pug. We're located on the north end of MI and have an enclosed yard for your dog (plus an extra enclosed space on the side of the house) and a wrap a round porch. Our door is pretty much always open so the dogs can go in and out as they please and our gates are super secure so unless your dog is a digger, they're safe in our yard. We also only board dogs who are two or older. :-) I'm at home every day and gone no more than a few hours to run my kids around to their activities each day. I've taken the dogs I've watched with me on all errands if they like car rides so they're pretty much around someone 90% of the time they stay with us. Our house is three stories and our current Pug is 8 years old and mostly blind so she sleeps a large portion of the day. She will sniff other dogs but that's the extent of her socializing and she will mostly just ignore guests. My girls and I love animals and your dog would feel like part of our family! Your dog would go on daily walks and if they're comfortable in cars, running my errands with me and my girls! We have an extra crate if your dog wants to sleep there or they can sleep with us in our bed or with one of my girls.
“Denise is a great and prompt communicator and super appreciate how flexible she was. My pup has Sep anx which requires someone home at all times and it was super appreciated that she could accommodate his needs!”

“We’re so grateful for Rachele, who took a last minute request to watch our mini Aussie for 3 days. Piper always came home happy and tired, from a fun day of walks and play. I got lots of updates and cute photos. We’ll definitely be rebooking. Thank you, Rachele 🥰”

“Alison was super communicative and sweet in taking care of my dog! She sent great photos and Leo seemed to have a great time with her. Will definitely book again!”

“Marissa was very attentive to our puppy. She went out if her way to talke extra care of her, gave her medicine and always walked her and sent us picttires. She was very responsible and easy to work with”
“Suzanne and David are awesome! They have a wonderful setting and have been great to work with. We are new to town and were scrambling to find care for our separation anxiety dog, and they were responsive and accommodating. They sent the most awesome pictures from the meet and greet and each daycare day since - looks like our pup is having the time of his life. Thank you so much!”

“Wonderful experience using Rover for the first time! Kristen was welcoming, nice, and made sure Jax was comfortable for his first stay. He had a great time playing with other pups!”

My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. About: I have a 3-year-old mini dachshund of my own, but I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood! I recently left the service industry, so I now have the flexibility to work from home and spend more time with pups. As a pet parent myself, I’ve relied on daycare and drop-in visits for my own dog, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry loved one. When your pet is with me, you can trust that I will be attentive to your pet’s needs and give them plenty of love in your absence. ❤️ I’m so excited to have this opportunity to spend more time at home with my girl, and I’d love to help other pet parents while giving her some extra playmates and socialization along the way! I’m currently on the job hunt, which means I spend most of my day working from home and have a very flexible schedule. My pup and I typically enjoy three walks a day, and I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific routine, exercise needs, and preferences. Whether your dog loves long walks, frequent potty breaks, playtime, or just some extra cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve! I have a puppy-safe apartment and a patio that my dachshund loves to sunbathe on. Safety is always my top priority, so pets are supervised and kept on a leash during walks and potty breaks outside. For drop-in visits, I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show mine. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine and any reasonable requests. I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, playtime, and plenty of attention, and I’ll ensure they’re safely settled in (whether that means being crated, or comfortable and secure) before I leave.
“Olof comes back nice and tired after a day with Priscilla. He can be a pretty lazy dog sometimes, but when he’s outside he’s super active-with my busy schedule I know he appreciates the extra stimulation to help with his anxiety. Hes happy to see her and drop off/pick up is always easy.”

About: My wife and I raised our 1 year old Cocker Spaniel (Remi) from the time he was just 8 weeks old, and the experience completely hooked us on the joy of having dogs around. We love our pup so much that I'm looking to welcome more dogs into my routine, whether that's joining me for neighborhood walks or hanging out with me and Remi for some dedicated company. I am a PhD student that works from home so my schedule is very flexible. I have plenty of time throughout the day to take my cocker spaniel puppy Remi on several walks a day and to the park near Auditorium Shores. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my Wife and 1 year old Cocker Spaniel Remi. Our apartment is completely dog proof since Remi loves to chew on things he shouldn't. We have an open courtyard in our building which I take Remi out to every couple hours. Please note that while my wife loves having dogs around, this Rover profile is just for me, and I will be the sole caretaker handling all walks, feeding, and supervision.

Jennifer has been very responsible, trustworthy, and professional. Thank you Jennifer!!!

Shayna was awesome and so caring of our kiddos while we were traveling and visiting ATX. She was flexible with our pickup and drop off times and really made the trip to ATX a breeze with one less thing to worry about for the day. She’s great at communicating, sending us updates on the kiddos and making sure they were comfortable. Really thankful we were able to find a great sitter. We really recommend Shayna and her services. We hope to come back and use her services again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Rollingwood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
