“Aryanna took such great care of our kitties! She leaves very detailed information about her visits, takes pictures and videos, and is punctual. 100% recommend!”

“Brandy is an absolute gem! She’s ultra sweet and has such a charming and welcoming personality that instantly puts pets (and people) at ease. She really takes the time to understand my little guy’s unique personality and knows exactly how to approach and introduce herself in a calm, respectful way. Stacks adored her! Brandy was also extremely communicative and prompt throughout the entire process, which gave me total peace of mind. I couldn’t recommend her more highly—she’s a natural with animals and just a joy to work with! I feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Christine was awesome! She helped me when I was in a real crunch, needing to unexpectedly be at work while training my new puppy I recently adopted. She was responsive to every text, provided me with pics of my baby every day, and was so patient with a brand new puppy. I recommend her services and am so thankful she was able to spend time with my baby! Thank you, Chrisitne!”

“Annie was an amazing pet sitter! She was attentive, caring, and went above and beyond to make sure my cats were happy and well taken care of. I really appreciated her updates and the extra care she showed.”

About: I started taking care of dogs during the pandemic. 2 yrs ago a friend was in a crunch and I took in her dog for almost a year. Gave me more hands on experience and I’ve dog sat other dogs on and off since. Currently work from home so, my schedule is very flexible. As long as we agree on a time and date, i’ll be there on time. I live near a dog park and love going on long walks. I have a car I can come to you and walk them near you or whatever you’re comfortable with.
“Simone was great! She was right on time, did all the little things we asked of her, and most importantly, played a lot with our very energetic pup! She also provided lots of fun pics and videos.”

“Regan was wonderfull she has a lot experience with cats and this was perfect for me I felt really comfortable, she sent me some really good pictures and keep me update!”

“Sarah is the best sitter!!! I loved getting daily updates and pictures while she was watching my cat. I highly highly recommend - it was my first time using Rover and I'm so happy I went with Sarah!! And I'll be booking her again :)”

“Jessica is an amazing pet sitter. She looked over my cat while I was away for a week. She's very descriptive & timely in her visits & reports. She takes the responsibility seriously. Will rebook if she's available.”

“Thank you Katie! Chickens aren’t easy or always fun to wrangle! We appreciate your consistency and creativity getting them cooped each night and making sure they were safe. We also appreciate how communicative you were during our trip.”

“I never had to worry about the kitties while we were on vacation. Nevaeh went above and beyond when one of the cats was being super sneaky and she was able to capture him on camera for us to ensure he was in the house (he's really good at hiding). We will definitely be booking with her for future trips!”

“Bianca was amazing with my dogs. She was very responsive throughout the whole process, keeping me updated every step of the way with texts and photos. She is very good with dogs and able to handle them even though they have a lot of energy. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Dulce is so great with my pup ziggy! I’m a nurse and work weird days and she is so accommodating with my schedule and so flexible! My pup is very high energy but she handles him really well and I know he’s in good hands! I feel so confident in her ability and know that my pup is well taken care of when she watches him!”

“Leslie was amazing ! She was so communicative and sent me the cutest pics. My cats loved her. It made my trip so much easier knowing that someone who cared was watching my babies. And she sat with them on the balcony so they got outside time everyday. I didn’t get to meet her but from the notes and pictures I can tell she’s a beautiful soul. Thank you so much !”

“Vanessa is wonderful with our cats and doggie! She is so sweet with them. She's one of the few dog sitters that our little Pom trusts! Yay! Thank you Vanessa! And thank you for being so willing to help out even at the last moment!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rollingwood. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
