I bring peace to your pets!
Hi, my name is Chantel (37). I have been pet sitting exclusively through Trusted House Sitters since the beginning of 2025. Unfortunately I cannot share my profile link from that site here with you for you to read and see my reviews but if you reach out to me on here I can send you the link :) I am also a writer and coach with a flexible schedule and I work from home. I do not currently have pets of my own, I just watch other people's full time. I have an 11 year old son who is very tender hearted and loves animals (he sometimes cries if he sees a dead animal on the side of the road), and when he isn't with his dad he likes to tag along with me to take care of and play with pets. On a more personal level I love to read, go for walks in nature, listen to podcasts, Mediterranean cooking (all cooking really), farmers markets, road trips, pilates, gardening, and bringing beauty to my home life. I am not shy (I love learning about people and connecting in more intimate settings) but I am introverted and prefer 1:1 or smaller groups and I avoid big loud crowds. Non smoker, non drinker, non drug user.

Chantel was great! She stayed at my house with my kitty while I was on a trip. She sent updates and I returned to a happy cat and a clean home. Will be booking with her again for my next trip:-)
Chantel has house and pet sit for us twice. Each time our home, dog and two cats were cared for beautifully. We could travel worry free, knowing our dog was walked and cuddled, everyone was fed and our home was clean and peaceful when we returned. Chantel is not only a great pet caregiver, but good communicator as well. She asked questions, has extensive experience and sent us photos and updates. I highly recommend her services.
Chantel has cared for our four legged children more than once. She is attentive to the pups, communicates well and sends pictures regularly. Leaving pups behind is less stressful with Chantel caring for them. We appreciate her services greatly.

I have a very flexible schedule and plan to switch over from Trusted House Sitters to Rover more and use this platform as a main source of my work. My work is flexible and we have weekly football practice on Tues & Thurs in the evenings and games Saturday mornings but it has always been easy to work pet care around that.

I can care for most pets in your home. I can only board smaller dogs in my home. I can also stay overnight or not depending on what your needs and preferences are.
A typical day
I love being outside so any chance we have to go on a walk or just in the yard is typically what I do for fun activities. My son loves playing fetch with dogs, particularly if you have one of those chuckit ball throwers, he loves those. Certain dogs are very well trained and can be around people and if the owner tells me they like to go to dog friendly coffee shops I can do that too :)
