About: I have been blessed with many wonderful pets in my life, both big and small! I currently own a horse, Felix. Unfortunately, my dog Alfie passed at 17 years old in January. Although I am not quite ready for a new in home pet of my own, I'd love to help you with yours! I have owned both cats and dogs through my life from puppy/kitten stage to senior life. I have experience with watching dogs, cats, and horses. I have no problem administering medication and I'm comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds. 95% of my job is working from home, because of that I am quite flexible in my schedule. On occasion, I do travel for work/personal but will do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My home is pet free, which means your pup will get my full attention! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a nice sized patio that is fully covered. The area has a lot of green space and sidewalks perfect for a long stroll. There is also a dog park available if your dog particularly enjoys being social. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.

Maritza cared for our 2 huskies, one that needs extra care due to both rear legs having had surgery. We received daily updates on how they were and on our return home, Maritza checked in with us to ensure we were back with them, which is both thoughtful and highly valuable. Maritza is more than capable of handling / caring for larger dogs and we're very grateful for her.
We knew from the minute Harper met our dog, Stella, and cat, Jack, that she was a perfect fit. On her meet and greet, she asked the most thoughtful and detailed questions about their day to day, relationship to each other, routine, house things - everything. She sent wonderful pictures, funny anecdotes, and the animals were always by her side it seemed. She even noticed the little things, like how Stella had been walking funny and ran it by us to see if anything was off (she’s okay! Just getting old!). Beyond that, our house was in wonderful shape, our plants alive, our garbage taken out, our mail gathered. Everything. She truly went above and beyond and we can’t wait to have her petsit again. Last time Johanna had to deal with the January ice storm, and now, flooding! Johanna deals with all the weather with calm and grace, and this time kept my dogs calm during all the heavy rain last week. Tiffany is AMAZING! My dogs both got skunked during her stay and she handled the situation SO well. She let us know immediately and took care of my Great Dane when she got scratched during the ordeal and was bleeding quite a bit. She kept us updated and made sure they were comfortable and safe and that the house was cleaned up. Not only that, but she also stayed close to my golden during fireworks on the fourth knowing he gets spooked AND cleaned up another health issue my Great Dane had during her stay. I hope after all that she would want to watch our pups again because we’d trust her entirely to take care of them again! Thank you for your patience and care with our babies during your stay. We cannot recommend Tiffany enough.
