She had her husband over a few times which we had agreed to beforehand - they both seem like genuine dog-lovers and were affectionate with Snickers & Soba. Our pups looked happy and healthy upon on our return. Shawn gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation, and we were grateful to have her stay at our house!”

“Michael was so kind and helpful with our dogs! Very communicative and patient with our younger one who has anxiety. We also had some flight issues and Michael was super helpful and went back to feed the dogs/let them out an extra time since we will be getting back so late. Highly recommend, great communicator and we felt very at ease while away!”

“Victoria was amazing! We have 3 dogs: one senior, one with fairly consistent tummy issues, and one total spaz. I consider them to be a little on the high maintenance side. We went on a two week vacation and needed someone who could be at the house with the pups for the majority of the time. Victoria was everything we could have hoped for! We had some last minute senior dog issues which entailed new medication and getting my stubborn senior to take that medication. Victoria definitely had to deal with some of the tummy issues. And by request, she sent us pictures of the pups every evening. She handled everything flawlessly, and we came home to some happy pups and a tidy house.”

About: Howdy, I’m J (they/them)🤠 I'm an ex-educator that has pivoted from working with teenagers to the world of animals! Some would say they're one and the same, and I would partially agree haha. Currently I work at a dog park/bar in far South Austin (which I could DEFINITELY bring your doggos to if they meet our rules and you’re comfortable), and before that I worked for an Austin-based pet sitting company. Aside from hanging out with my two critters at the house, Boomer, a pit-bull/dachshund mix, and Remi, a Russian Blue kitty, I can be found almost every day making canine buddies at work. I will be extremely communicative about my schedule, so we can work out a time that best fits everyone! I care for all animals with incredible attention to detail, unconditional love, and a heart full of compassion, just as they give to us humans.

“Lauren was amazing! We were having issues with our auto locks and she was more calm about it than I was! Our pups were super happy when we got home. I appreciated that she asked how much communication we wanted, and she was available for FaceTime. One of the best house sitters we’ve had!”

“First, I think it's important to note that our dogs aren't easy to deal with. We have been dealing with aggression issues and were concerned that might flare up while we were away. Ashley was fantastic before we even left by meeting with us multiple times so she fully understood everything she would need to take care of them and help us by implementing the training regiment we are trying to start with our dogs. Once we left she was quick to respond and always sent us pictures each day so we knew how they were doing. Unfortunately, the aggression issues did come up while we we were away but Ashley managed the issues and both dogs extremely well. She quickly resolved the situation called us to discuss and modified our original plan as necessary. She was amazing to work with and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.”

We had a 3 month puppy in a city without any family, and being able to find someone who was not able to just keep an eye on her (and my other dog) but go over and beyond to give us peace of mind that she was happy and healthy.
