I work part-time at a restaurant, so my schedule is very flexible. On days I am not working, I am available to stay with pets all day and provide overnight care. On the days that I do work, my shifts are typically about 5 hours long, which still allows me time to care for pets before and after work. If I am scheduled for a double shift, I have a 1-hour break in between, which I can use to check in on pets, walk them, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. I always prioritize making sure pets are not left alone for long periods and maintain a consistent care routine.

I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for pets is something I truly love. I have over 10 years of experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve dog-sat many times for friends and families, including caring for multiple pets in one home for weeks at a time (3 dogs and 4 cats). I’m comfortable managing feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I also have experience with senior and special-needs pets. I once cared for an elderly German Shepherd whose back legs no longer worked. I helped with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and cleanup, and made sure she stayed comfortable and loved. This experience taught me patience, compassion, and how important gentle care is for older pets. I treat every pet like my own and always aim to give pet parents peace of mind through reliable, attentive care.

Andrea has aided in taking care of my cat and my three dogs, and while my cat is a simple creature, the dogs are a little more challenging. Nonetheless, she was able to provide proper care and attention to each individual animal based on their personalities. With my cat, who prefers minimal attention from strangers and can even be go into hiding, she was able to provide food and water for him will also ensuring that he was safe, had clean living conditions, and was in a comfortable situation. With my dogs, she provided proper care and proper energy and stamina to each individual personality. In addition, she made sure that each individual dog received the proper medication that is assigned to them through the descriptions I provided about their pill bottles and if I requested, she provided video or photo evidence of my dogs playing or relaxing or the like. I would contend that Andrea would be an excellent pet sitter because she has an extreme love for animals, their well-being, and has had past experience with other individuals in taking care of their animals. In addition, specifically for older animals, she is extremely versatile and experienced with handling and providing attention, love, care, and assistance to older dogs as she herself owns an older dog and has cared for my older dog. She will follow your instructions through and through and will be punctual with her actions.
