Alex was beyond attentive to their needs, schedules, and our instructions. He is very respectful and knows animal behavior. Our home was left in the same (actually better) condition than when we left. He provided updates frequently. But most of all, when we got home… the dogs weren’t even that excited to see us 😂😂😂😂. I know being away from your babies is hard, and pictures are the next best thing. I love going on adventures, and tug a war is my favorite. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This gives me alot of freedom and flexibility to work with your schedule and your pet needs. I would keep your fur baby company while you are away. Keeping them as active as possible. About: I've taken care of my own dogs since they were puppies up to their now senior age of 10, so I know how to care for dogs across all ages. But not only my own. I've helped care for people with senior dogs, volunteered at pet shelters, and generally tried to make the lives of as many pets as I can happier! I love pets (especially dogs), so the more time I can spend with our four-legged friends, the better! The only thing preventing me from spending time with other people's pets is taking care of my own two dogs :) In your house, I would care for your dog as if it were my own! My dogs can sometimes be a bit rowdy, so I don't often have other dogs stay at my place for long periods of time.

About: Hi! I’m Destiny – a lifelong animal lover and certified veterinary assistant. Growing up, I always had a soft spot for animals and knew from the time I was in kindergarten that I wanted to work with them. In high school, I spent all four years in a veterinary program and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant in May 2022. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience through multiple internships, working with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. One of my most memorable moments was during my time at South Park Animal Hospital, where I helped care for an injured dog who had been hit by a car—and ended up adopting him myself! Today, I work full time at Banfield Pet Hospital where I have been since February 2024. I also care for local stray cats, making sure they’re fed and healthy. About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.
About: I have been blessed with many wonderful pets in my life, both big and small! I currently own a horse, Felix. Unfortunately, my dog Alfie passed at 17 years old in January. Although I am not quite ready for a new in home pet of my own, I'd love to help you with yours! I have owned both cats and dogs through my life from puppy/kitten stage to senior life. I have experience with watching dogs, cats, and horses. I have no problem administering medication and I'm comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds. 95% of my job is working from home, because of that I am quite flexible in my schedule. On occasion, I do travel for work/personal but will do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My home is pet free, which means your pup will get my full attention! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a nice sized patio that is fully covered. The area has a lot of green space and sidewalks perfect for a long stroll. There is also a dog park available if your dog particularly enjoys being social. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
