About: Hi there. I am a dog mom, and have experience with all types of pets and their care. I communicate with my clients with daily update and make sure to add a few pictures. I know being away from your babies is hard, and pictures are the next best thing. I love going on adventures, and tug a war is my favorite. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I work part time and am available to set my schedule and work around anything really. I am also off weekend. This gives me alot of freedom and flexibility to work with your schedule and your pet needs. I would keep your fur baby company while you are away. Keeping them as active as possible. Also taking details notes about rules, diet, allergies and feeding schedules.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered both and been a cat owner. I have also helped friends and acquaintances with their pets while they are away. My experience includes walking dogs, scooping 💩, changing litter boxes, providing food and play to pets, and completing general house sitting tasks. I have also administered eye medications to kittens before and allergy meds to dogs. I have also lived on a couple of farms and helped take care of horses, goats, chickens, and even a rabbit. I would love to take care of your pet and offer you the peace of mind to know I will love on and care for them as if they were my own :) I’m self-employed, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets. Specifically, I am a Certified Public Accountant who quit her consulting job to become a part-time farmer! I am currently operating my own micro-farm growing organic vegetables and flowers in South Austin which allows my schedule to be very flexible. I am available for boarding, house-sitting, pet walking and drop-in visits to feed and play with cats and dogs (and other animals on a case by case basis). I am happy to visit and care for a variety of pets by feeding and playing with them as well as helping with any household tasks including plant watering, checking the mail and throwing out trash/recycling. I am currently living in a tiny home on my own on a large plot of land with plenty of access to unfenced outdoor space if you are interested in boarding your pets. I am also very happy to come to your home for drop-in visits and/or to stay overnight if you and your pets would be more comfortable with that option. For dogs, I am happy to spend time indoors with them playing with toys and giving them good belly scratches as well as take them outdoors either into the backyard and/or on walks. I have experience both with big dogs including a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees lab mix, Australian Shepherds, and shelter dogs as well as smaller dogs including a Teacup Pomeranian and an Iggie. I’m very active, so if your dog has a lot of energy and likes to go on runs, I am happy to run with them as well. For cats, I am happy to match their energy levels - if they are playful and energetic, I engage with them and encourage play. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.

“Monica was great and I highly recommend her! I booked her for a 3 night stay with my dog and two cats, which I was super anxious about. It was the first time I was leaving them in a while given that one of my cats went on subcutaneous fluids. I was ?very anxious about him potentially missing his night time dose so, despite the long commute, Monica came for the M&G and a second visit for extra practice with the injection. For the stay I was willing to work around her work schedule with a dog walker, but she was lovely enough to take most of the days off so that she could fully focus on the crew. During my time away I got plenty of updates and I came back to a clean apartment and content animals.”

Wherever I’m caring for your pet, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make their time away from you feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my priority. I pay close attention to body language, behavior, and each pet’s individual needs, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, medication, exercise, and care routines. In my home, I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to play, relax, or take a break when they need one. I’m experienced with multi-dog households, different play styles, and recognizing when a dog needs some space. I also have gates to block access to stairs or separate areas of the home when needed, as well as multiple large crates for dogs who are crate-trained and feel most comfortable having their own space. When I’m house sitting, I’ll care for your pets and your home with the same attention I give my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s usual routine, respect any household rules or safety precautions, and make sure your home is secure while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I've taken care of my own dogs since they were puppies up to their now senior age of 10, so I know how to care for dogs across all ages. But not only my own. I've helped care for people with senior dogs, volunteered at pet shelters, and generally tried to make the lives of as many pets as I can happier! I love pets (especially dogs), so the more time I can spend with our four-legged friends, the better! The only thing preventing me from spending time with other people's pets is taking care of my own two dogs :) In your house, I would care for your dog as if it were my own! My dogs can sometimes be a bit rowdy, so I don't often have other dogs stay at my place for long periods of time.
