About: I have always loved both cats and dogs I live in a decent sized home with my cat parsnip, Iâm home all the time now so Iâll be able to keep a close eye on any animal in my care I am currently between jobs so I will be home all day making my schedule ideal for any dogs who need constant supervision or have separation anxiety I like to spend as much Time as possible with the pets in my home I leave most of my doors open so they have free reign of the house. Ill walk the dogs in the morning and after and make sure they get plenty of play time in before the sun goes down

About: We wanna watch your sweet baby!!!!!! I love and understand dogs so that means I wonât derail your dog training. I trained my dog to be so polite that she now weaponizes it against me lol. I know how frustrating it is when you go out of town and come back to a slightly worse behaved dog so I will make sure to continue your typical rules while youâre gone. I also have a great backyard for them to go run around and play, your dog (and me) will have so much fun!!!! I only watch 1 dog at a time. I have a medium sized dog and her best friends are always tiny dogs. Your tiny dog will be the boss of my dog. I work from home, we go play dog soccer in the backyard multiple times a day. My dog like to chill in the yard and stare at birds, I mostly let them go out whenever they want Your dog will get physical AND mental stimulation! A tired dog is a good dog. They will get to go potty as many times a day as they want, as I work from home. I have a fenced yard, I have a crate if you choose that for your dog.
âKalena and her other dog crew were fantastic. Watson is a bit older, this year he will be 11. He gets lots of walks at home but this gives him other dogs to interact with more to break up his routine. We appreciate your attention and care of him.â

About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.
âGrateful for Cathy for being so flexible and helping to take care of my crazy Ranger! She is very sweet, showed concern, and I appreciate the insights and observations she made throughout his stay.â

âPochi was in a great hands with Madeline! She kept me posted throughout the day, along with sending pictures. I loved seeing him have a great time with both Madeline and his new friend, Snax! We will definitely be booking again when weâre needing a sitter.â

About: Hi there! đđź My name is Brenda. I grew up in a small town surrounded by animalsâcats, dogs, chickens, and horses. I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. Iâve spent a lot of time caring for animals, both at home and professionally as I used to be a veterinary technician for four years. Iâm now a stay-at-home mom, but my love for animals hasnât changed I still love being around pets and would be so happy to help care for yours! Pet sitting is the perfect way for me to stay connected to animals while also being able to stay at home with my baby girl. Bilingual As a stay at home mom my schedule is super flexible, and I can easily accommodate you and your petâs needs! I am available Monday through Sunday. Our home is a cozy three bedroom space, and one of the rooms is set up as a guest room with a twin bedâour cat loves to lounge there! Sheâs also welcome on the couches, and the same goes for any other four legged visitors. We also have a spacious, fenced backyard thatâs perfect for playtime or lounging in the sun. If itâs more convenient for me to come to your home, Iâm happy to make that work as long as youâre okay with me bringing my baby along if needed and your pets are gentle and comfortable around little ones.

About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, I have had five dogs and two cats, along with many smaller pets including a hermit crab, hamsters, fish, and other small animals. When I was younger, I even dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because I've always had a passion for caring for animals. While my career ultimately took me in a different direction, that love for animals has never changed. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, playtime, and making pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring, dependable hands. I'm currently working from home, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. I have wide availability to play with the pets. I have a fenced yard and 2 cats and a dog to keep your pets company. The house is spacious, so if your pets need some quiet time, they can be easily put in one of the pet rooms or even run around in the living room!

Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
