About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!

“First time leaving my doge alone with someone who isn’t a best friend or blood related so this was a scare for me from the start tbh, but Amanda and Jared were super great! They were reassuring and welcoming throughout the whole process and sent photos every day I was gone multiple times a day and also even when I randomly asked bc professional paranoia is my superpower. They’re in a solid neighborhood with a wonderfully tall and sturdy (and pretty nice looking) backyard fence where pups hangout and everything. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Luck, to cancer, and more recently, my 1-year-old cat, Mio, to heart failure. These losses deepened my passion and commitment to being a voice and source of comfort for animals in need. I'm currently pursuing my master’s degree at Texas State University and looking for a side job to help support my education. I've volunteered at a dog rescue center (Four Legged Ranch) multiple times. I've also worked with a breeder and I've helped clean the crates, pick up poop, feed them and more. My clients and their pet are my number one priority and I can only hope they are satisfied with my service. My goal of my service is to always treat your pets like they are my own and make sure they go back to you happy and healthy. I am currently pursuing masters at Texas State University, so my schedule is flexible, except Mondays and Wednesdays. I have classes from 11am-2:20pm. I also have internship for 4 hours from Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm-7:30pm. On Mondays & Wednesdays, I will stop by my home in between my class and internship to let the dogs out and give them attention before leaving. Other than that, I am home full time. I will care for your furbaby as if they are mine. They will get undivided attention and love. I will always make sure your furbaby goes back to you happy and healthy.
