About: From dogs, cats, horses, pigs, sheep, and a rabbit, I have great experience in a wide variety of pets since I was 7. I have a special place in my heart for the herding and retriever breeds and am knowledgeable about the varying grooming, diet, and exercise habits across breeds. My goal is to make your pet feel as if you never left! My work from home schedule allows me to work anywhere with an internet connection. I am not currently able to have any pets in my apartment, and I would enjoy an opportunity to borrow your pet while you're away! About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I’ve had several types of dogs in my life, from tiny 3 lb ankle biters to a 250 lb mastiff, so I’m comfortable around both small and large dogs. I also adopted and cared for an orange cat for 2 years, which gave me experience with cat routines, litter care, playtime, and respecting a cat’s space. My personal sidekick was Growlithe, my mini schnauzer of 14 years. He was way too smart for his own good and taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and how unique every pet’s personality can be. What sets me apart is that I care for pets with real attention, not just basic check-ins. I pay attention to their routine, comfort level, behavior, and safety so they feel secure while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m used to being responsible for animals and adjusting my day around their needs. I have experience caring for dogs, a cat, and freshwater aquariums, so feeding schedules, cleaning, playtime, walks, and check-ins are all things I’m comfortable managing. I do my best to keep pets on the routine they already know, whether that means morning walks, evening feeding, potty breaks, playtime, or quiet company. I understand pets feel more comfortable when their schedule stays consistent, so I follow owner instructions closely and communicate clearly if anything comes up. My goal is to make pet care feel dependable, calm, and stress-free for both the pet and the owner. I care for every pet with patience, attention, and respect for their normal routine. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s home, I make sure the environment is safe, calm, and comfortable before anything else. I pay close attention to doors, gates, food, water, leash safety, and any instructions the owner provides. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I do my best to match their comfort level. Some pets need playtime and activity, while others need space, quiet, and gentle attention. I always follow feeding instructions, medication notes, potty schedules, and house rules carefully. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I would want for my own. I keep things clean, secure, and organized, and I make sure pets feel safe in their familiar environment. I also believe communication builds trust, so I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and notes so owners know their pets are being cared for properly.
