“Paul and Karina welcomed our terrier mix, Orwell, with open arms for a solid week while we vacationed in Seattle. Orwell is a sweetheart, but he is all terrier -barky with strangers, nervous around other dogs and, in all honesty, a bit over-indulged. We were a bit nervous about how he would do in a new setting. He did great! Paul and Karina sent pictures every day, as promised, and we could see how well he was adjusting. When we came to pick him up, he greeted us with his new buddies (the other dogs boarding during his stay) and had clearly not only adjusted to being around new people and other dogs, but really thrived. We will happily leave Orwell with Paul and Karina again and highly recommend them.”

I’m so glad she did because I had a great experience also!! They sent pictures and videos without me even asking which was so nice because I am truly obsessed with my dog. And then they even sent us with little Polaroids of her and her with a cute sign behind her. Thank you Yisel and Victor for being so awesome!”

“As always… we loved having Zhian watch Bo and all the pictures and communication, made our time away from him so smooth because we can tell Bo was always so happy and enjoying and feels right at home. Thank you so much for all the love and care. Bo misses you already and is looking forward to next time!”

The peace of mind Sarah provides is priceless- I know the cats are healthy and happy and not lonely and sad when we travel- it’s a good bet they might even prefer her over us! They love the attention she gives them. We definitely recommend Sarah for caring for your pets!”

“Courtney took my request last minute when our prior dog sitting plan fell through. She was extremely responsive and made me feel comfortable that my two dogs would be well taken care of. “Sherron did an amazing job taking care of our senior dog while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and made us feel completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. We really appreciate the care and attention she gave him and would definitely recommend her services!”

“Willow was fantastic! Both of my kitties immediately liked her and felt comfortable with her! That’s really all I can ask for but she also followed my feeding instructions to a T, and was very respectful of my space- even cleaned their food bowls for me before she left on her last visit! I will definitely be a repeat client 😄”

“Marina was fantastic with our crew of five cats! She was incredibly communicative throughout the sit, sending regular updates with photos that put our minds at ease every day. She gave all the kitties their regular outside cube time and even kept our fish thriving. What really stood out was how she won over our most particular cat, which is not an easy feat and speaks to her patience and genuine care. We’d trust Marina with our cats (and fish!) again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with several dogs and cats in the family home. I have raised and trained a Doberman, so I know what it takes to teach them obedience and the importance of consistency. I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Fun fact: when I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian. I feel that I have a special connection with animals; they are usually naturally drawn to me. I didn’t pursue a career as a veterinarian because I had other interests. I currently don’t have any animals because I enjoy the flexibility. I would love to take care of your animals and treat them with extra special care. I am currently working part time and would have the time to care for your pet(s) after work or on my days off. I currently work a 2-3 days a week and am available by the afternoons on the days I am working. I typically pet sit in the owners home. I find that is more comfortable for them. I am not currently able to have pets where I live.
About: Hi y’all! I’m a dog mom of 2 (Bleu, a silver lab and Bronco, a Welsh Terrier) and have always had a passion for animals. 😊 I am notorious for always saying hi to four-legged friends — whether we’re walking on the trail, sharing an outdoor patio or driving past each other on the road. I love getting to know all of the different personalities (our two boys couldn’t be more opposite!) and hope to do the same with your pups. 🐶 I’m a firm believer in smelling all the smells and getting a good workout in during walks. You can count on me for a fun, energizing, safe walk during the day. 🤍 I am currently offering morning and afternoon walks Monday-Friday in the Lakeway, Bee Cave and Spicewood area. ☀️ New to the Rover community but excited to create relationships with you and your pup! I will carry extra doggy bags, wipes and treats in my walking backpack should we need anything during our time outside. If needed, I will spend some time letting your pup get to know me before we head out for our walk so everyone feels comfortable! 😊

“Lily is AWESOME!!! Justice (my precious dog), was anxious when he first met her, but Lily was extremely patient and SO VERY loving and gentle with him - Needless to say, Lily quickly won him over!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤️”

About: I grew up with a wide variety of animals but especially cats and dogs. I’ve been dog sitting and walking as a side hustle since freshman year of high school in 2016. I moved out and got certified as a wag walker in early 2023. It’s been a great side hustle over the years and I’ve picked up additional skills like training and grooming. I also have two cats as an adult. What has changed currently is leaving my full time job in hopes of connecting with things I love like animals. My parents no longer live in state and I miss my dog friends. I make my own schedule and most of my income is currently from pet care. Open to odd jobs and odd hours, genuinely love the work. I have diagnosed ocd so if you give me a list I will stick to it. I try to go above and beyond when it comes to care and that extra step. Bonding with the animal and understanding their specific personality is highly important to me.
About: Since I was little I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. At one point having Six dogs in the house and four cats (one of thoses cats being my own <3). it's been years and me and my emotional support cat got your back :)! I am currently a student studying for my DAT, but I stay flexible! Let me know before if you have a restrictive time and we will work from there. I value safely over anything. Of course I want all pets to have a fun time with me, but If saftly is in question, we always turn the other way.
“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals and family responsibilities my entire life, and caring for others is a core part of who I am. Growing up in a busy, dedicated pet-owning family, I spent years helping look after my little sister and raising three different dogs across all life stages. My first childhood dog, Fonzie, sparked my deep bond with animals early on. Later, our second family dog, Crembo, was my constant companion from the time I was seven years old until she passed away fifteen years later. Caring for her throughout her senior years gave me immense, hands-on experience handling aging pets and maintaining gentle, patient daily routines. Today, our family dog Kiwi has been a huge part of my life since I was sixteen, keeping me fully dialed into the daily energy, habits, and exercise needs of active pets. In addition to dogs, my family has also kept fish tanks my entire life, giving me a lifelong familiarity with maintaining basic aquarium care. Beyond my own family, I have a proven track record of independent responsibility when looking after other people's homes and pets, including a wide variety of dogs, cats, and fish. For nearly three years during high school, a neighbor hired me to care for her dog, Splenda, almost every single day after school. I managed her afternoon routine for an hour or two daily, ensuring she got her exercise, fresh water, and companionship before her owner returned from work. This long-term commitment taught me the absolute importance of punctuality and consistency in an animal's life. Over the years, I have regularly house-sat and pet-sat for various people, which includes managing feeding schedules and daily care specifically for a close family friend's cat over many successful stays. These experiences often involved staying at properties entirely alone overnight or managing them independently during the day. Because of this, I am highly adaptable to different home security systems, household rules, and unique pet personalities. My background working as a camp counselor and professional bartender also adds a strong layer to my reliability. I am deeply accustomed to high-trust environments, handling unexpected situations with a cool head, and maintaining strict organizational standards. Working in hospitality means I am naturally obsessed with cleanliness and organization, closing down spaces spotlessly, and keeping environments completely neat and tidy. I am fully accustomed to managing daily household chores and handling a property responsibly while owners are away, treating every home with the exact same respect I give my own. I recently relocated to Austin and I'm in the process of picking up part-time bartending shifts, which works out well for both of us — I get the time, and your pet gets someone who's actually around. I've got a sweet dog, Kiwi, back home, and I've missed having that kind of company since moving, so I'd love having a pet around again. My schedule is wide open — I'm available every day, any time, including weekends. Most of my days are spent job hunting, settling into the city, and just being around the house, so I'm home and available a lot, not squeezing visits in between other things. If your pet wants extra walks, more playtime, or just someone hanging around keeping them company, I'm happy to make that part of my day. I treat every client's home and pets the way I'd want mine treated. Since I only provide care in your home (house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking), my focus is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, and that your home is exactly how you left it when you get back. Household Security & Care: I'll double-check doors and gates, make sure the alarm's set, bring in mail or packages, and keep things clean and tidy the whole time I'm there, like you never left. Safety on Walks: Dogs stay securely leashed, and I keep an eye out for other dogs, traffic, and Texas heat on the pavement. I'm also a bigger guy, so if your dog's a puller, gets nervous in busy spots and needs to be held close, or just needs a lift now and then, even a big dog, that's genuinely no trouble for me. Routine & Health Monitoring: I'll stick to your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routine, and I pay attention to how they're acting, eating, and moving so I notice early if something feels off. Communication: You'll get daily photos, a quick note on how walks and meals went, and a fast reply whenever you reach out, so you're not left wondering how things are going.

“Payton is very responsive, prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. She sent me frequent text and photo updates, which helped me feel at ease while I was away. Most importantly, she takes wonderful care of Benny and treats him like he’s her own. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s in such loving and capable hands. My experience working in a veterinary setting has set me up to help manage medication administration and postoperative care. I care for pets full time. I have openings for walks and drop-ins early mornings, late afternoons and evenings Monday-Saturday. My availability for sitting is pretty open at the moment. I care for your pets according to your pet’s regular schedule and individual needs. I’m very patient and like to go at your pet’s pace. I’m always honored when I have the opportunity to help folks care for their beloved animals and treat both their home environment and their care needs the same way I do with my own - with kindness, consideration, integrity and respect.
About: I focus on creating a calm, low-stress environment where pets feel safe and understood. I pay close attention to each animal’s needs and routine, and I’m especially good with shy or low-energy pets who prefer a quieter presence. I’m not just here to check a box—I genuinely care about making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but when my schedule allows, I also offer care on weekdays. Weekends are when I’m most available, and I genuinely enjoy spending that time with animals. When caring for pets in their own home, I stick closely to their usual routine to keep things comfortable and familiar. I’m respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well-cared for. Whether it’s walks, feedings, meds, or just quiet company, I treat every home—and every pet—with the same care I’d want for my own.

About: All throughout my childhood and teen years I have babysat cat, dogs, or any animal I could.

“Jonathan took great care of my dog (high-energy Australian Shepherd) for more than a week. My dog came back happy and well looked after. Jonathan was polite, responsive, and easy to communicate with, and he shared photos and videos during the stay, which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with him again next time.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Laura as our pet sitter. She took great care of our Havanese-poodle and kept us updated throughout, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our pet was well cared for and comfortable in her care. We truly appreciate her attention and reliability, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”
