“We booked Amber to drop in on our dogs after a meet and greet. I am impressed with Amber’s professionalism from the moment we first communicated, to her punctuality, and patience with me as I learn Rover’s system for the first time. Amber also displayed appropriate knowledge of reading my dog’s behavior and treating my pets with kindness. I plan to use Amber’s services for our future needs.”

“Know when we leave our furbaby with Cheryal and will be taken care of. She knows what she needs and is trustworthy. Love the message and pic updates. Would recommend Cheryal without hesitation.”

“Emily was wonderful with my cat and clearly cared a lot about making her feel comfortable and loved. The photo updates showed how relaxed and happy my cat was around her, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. She was also very respectful of my home and went above and beyond in small thoughtful ways. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I have three years of dog training under my belt, I've trained and cared for hundreds of dogs and animals of all varieties. From puppies, to senior dogs, to anxious dogs. From cats, to birds, even to snakes. I currently work in marketing at a 9-5 but am home all weekends and will be remote very soon! I am a homebody and will have 24/7 availability to the animals I am boarding. I have a beautiful dog park behind my place, along with plenty of inside room and cozy beds and blankets, as well as a safe outdoor route to walk them on.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 for neighbors and family friends! I love meeting new pets and spending time with them and getting to learn their quirks I am currently in high school but have early release and am able to go over quite frequently throughout the day! “Marcela, the cat whisperer! Our kitty is shy and usually takes a while to warm up. But he warmed up immediately to Marcela. She went above and beyond, even sweeping up litter and bringing packages inside. I'll definitely be re-booking with her whenever I can!”

“Sarah is a dream Petsitter! She takes such great care of our cats! I love seeing the photos she sends of the cats while she plays with them and snuggles with them. The peace of mind Sarah provides is priceless- I know the cats are healthy and happy and not lonely and sad when we travel- it’s a good bet they might even prefer her over us! They love the attention she gives them. We definitely recommend Sarah for caring for your pets!”

“Leilani did a great job taking care of our kitties. She’s friendly, personable, a great communicator and shared detailed photos. We will definitely reach out for future care!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hudson Bend
Lydia was very responsive and always attentive. This was our first time booking a sitter for our cats, and the first time for our cats to be alone for so long. Lydia put our minds at ease on our trip because our cats were in good hands. Our cats are normally really shy but Lydia was able to put them at ease as well. We hope we can count on her again in the future if need be! Absolutely great service!

I’ve booked Kaia a couple of times now and she’s awesome. She watched my two cats over the holidays, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The photos and updates she sends are always the sweetest, and it’s so clear how much she cares about my kitties and they love her! ☺️ thank you so much, Kaia! 🥹

Myo (Seth) was so consistent and took such great care of are pets. So happy with the service and all the great updates he gave. Really worked out great and pets are safe and very happy. We will definitely use Seth again. My dog and cat responded really well to him right away. He came to my home on time everyday and consistently gave us a photo showing how each pet was doing. Put us ( my kids ) at ease so we could enjoy our vacation. Definitely recommend using him to care for your pets. He obviously loves caring for animals. .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
