I am very responsible and careful with your fur babies! I care for your pets like they were my family. Because they are YOUR family : ) I have had dogs and cats on and off for the past 20 years. I can give meds (especially to cats, which is tricky) and assist with the needs of older and fragile pet companions. I can handle both large and small dogs and clean up after them. I can maintain your puppy training schedule while you are gone as well. Available for in-home care to keep your pet in their comfort zone!

I had to travel for a week overseas, leaving my senior dog and a house to look after. Candace listened carefully to everything I shared about the job and asked great questions. My dog was clearly well cared for - which I knew both from the brief videos Candace shared as well as how the dog acted when I got home. I could not be more pleased.
Candace did a great job taking care of our pups! She sent lots of videos too. We would happily use her again.

Schedule
I am able to stay with your pet in their familiar environment, make scheduled trips to the home, or board at my home, whichever is preferred.

Safety, trust & environment
I will always monitor your pet indoors and outdoors for their safety. Exercise will be part of the daily routine, according to what your pet prefers and their age. Your instructions will be followed to the letter! Lots of patience attention will be given to your precious companion and I will watch over them while you are away and give them some love to tide them over till you return!
A typical day
If your pet is at your home, we will take all his familiar routes so he is in his/her comfort zone! I will take cues from your pet and let them take time to get comfortable with me before we venture out!
