Hello, my name is Payton - a lifelong animal lover based in Lakeway / Steiner Ranch / Austin areas. Whether your pet needs long walks or snuggles on the couch, I provide personalized care they’ll feel at home with. I've cared for an energetic 18-pet household requiring many Rx administrations, as well as many simpler, single-pet homes. I've been pet sitting for 27+ years; cumulatively 100+ dogs, 30+ cats, a few cattle, & various reptiles. I have experience with senior pets, as well as special needs/hospice pets, involving Rx administration for epilepsy, GI & kidney issues, eye diseases, & anal gland/joint/allergy flares. I love meeting new pet personalities, & learning about breed-specific habits & talents. This is a job I find great fun in, while also taking very seriously. When you entrust your pets in me, you can rest assured that they’ll be treated as if they’re my own.

My main goal is to keep your pets & home happy while you're away. All house stays include routine pet, plant, and home care. I like to send frequent photo & well-being updates throughout my stay; my phone stays on loud for quick responses as needed.

Payton is truly exceptional. She is outgoing, incredibly reliable, and such a natural with both dogs and cats. From the start, her communication was clear, proactive, and reassuring—something that matters so much when you’re away from your pets. She’s genuinely loving with animals, attentive to their needs, and flexible when schedules shift. I always felt confident knowing our pets were in caring, capable hands. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Payton is our go-to! She’s unbelievable - highly communicative, so kind, and so sweet with animals. She’s been incredible flexible as things pop up (as they sometimes do!) when house sitting and pet sitting. We’re so grateful for her!
We are so thankful to have found Payton after recently moving to Austin! She is incredibly mature, professional, and kind — the type of person you immediately feel comfortable trusting with your home and pets. What stood out most was how proactive she was in communicating; she stayed a step ahead, keeping us informed and reassured the entire time we were away. As someone who juggles a demanding work and travel schedule, I can’t overstate how much I appreciated that level of clarity and thoughtfulness. She followed every instruction perfectly, was flexible when needed, and left our home and pets so well cared for. We’ll absolutely be using her again — she’s a true gem!
Payton was our first overnight dog and house sitter and she exceeded all of our expectations and more. She watched over our 11 week old puppy Benny (who needs a lot of love, playtime, and potty breaks when he’s not napping) for 3 days while we went out of town for a wedding. We were very nervous to leave him for the first time and she made us feel very happy and comfortable with our decision by sending us several 3 to 4 updates per day, lots of photos, and we could clearly see our boy very happy and playful with her. She also tidied up after herself and left the house very clean which I appreciate after a trip. She clearly loves animals and followed our instructions perfectly

I work from home, so am very flexible at this time. I'm available 7 days a week with a few exceptions sprinkled in; I do my best to support short-notice requests!
