Hello, my name is Payton - I'm a lifelong animal lover based in Austin, Texas. Over the past 25+ years, I've had the opportunity to work with 150+ pets of various breeds & needs. I’ve cared for puppies & kittens, seniors, and hospice/special-needs animals too. Whether your pet needs long adventure walks, short strolls, fetch runs, or cozy snuggles on the couch - I provide care that is catered to their unique preferences, needs, & routine. I have experience administering medications for epilepsy, GI & kidney conditions, eye diseases, allergies, joint issues, as well as daily vitamins. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they’ll be treated as if they’re my own.

Payton is very responsive, prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. She sent me frequent text and photo updates, which helped me feel at ease while I was away. I had a very short-notice request, and Payton gladly took on the challenge. She had my dog Frimpy smiling real big - highly recommend :)
We highly recommend Payton. This was our first time and there are quite a few things to share. First and foremost, she accommodated our request for a 4-night stay literally last minute. Payton was very transparent with a certain window that doesn't work for her, and we really appreciate that. She was able to spend a lot of times with our pet Bones, gave him a lot of good attention, took him out for walks, gave him timely meds and spoilt him with timely treats 😆. Payton also watered our plants (indoors and outdoors), and gave Bones a bath. I want to highlight that Payton was very responsive throughout, shared updates proactively and also washed the bed sheets before she left. We were very anxious about our last minute situation, and thanks to Payton - we were fully relaxed during our trip. We're definitely going back to Payton next time as our first option!
Payton was absolutely wonderful with our dogs. She sent us so many pics, took them on many walks and they seemed so happy!!! She was extremely communicative and we would absolutely use Payton again to watch our dogs and stay with them in our house. She even left us a thank you card for our return!!!! 🩷
Payton stayed at our house for a week and did a great job. She earned the trust of our extremely shy rescue dog, sent daily updates, and left everything in perfect condition. She handled an unexpected situation professionally and communicated what happened right away. We came home to a clean house, a thoughtful handwritten card, and two happy pets :) We hope to use Payton again in the future and feel comfortable recommending her.

Schedule
I'm a project manager with a hybrid schedule; often WFH, with a few standing meetings between the hours of 9:30am-3pm M-F. I enjoy sprinkling dog walks into my week for a chance to get some sun & fresh air with a companion I am sure to get along well with. Regarding house sits - I am always cognizant of time away from home, and will communicate if circumstance would require me to be away from the home for an extended period of time (6-8 hrs, or less depending on the pet).
