Duncan quickly responded to our request and took great care of Gigi during a walk during crummy weather, even drying her and cleaning the mud from her feet afterward! He is a dog lover :) We are so grateful he was willing to walk her multiple times a week while we are busy.

About: I have experience interning at a vet clinic, where I learned more ways to care for animals and grew my passion for pet sitting. I have cared for both puppies and elderly dogs whilst pet sitting. Alongside dog sitting, I also have experience caring for other pets, such as cats, and taking care of house plants. I have a very flexible schedule this summer and I am hoping to incorporate more pet care into my daily life! I am available weekdays and weekends. I own four dogs which I feed, bathe, take on walks, play outside with, feed. I am very experienced in taking care of dogs because of my four dogs at home. I care of others pets based on what they need from me.

Ricky loved Renay. She is personable, and good with dogs. She is a vet tech, so I feel even more safe having her come and walk Ricky if I'm away. She took photos, and communicated well with me. Thank you Renay!

My dog Cleo was happy to see her after the consultation. Cleo was hesitant to go back inside because the alarm was beeping in my home. But Lindsey was able to disarm the alarm at my request and coax Cleo in. Stellar job.

About: Loving, Reliable & Experienced Pet Care on My Peaceful Ranch Animals have always been at the heart of my life — truly, I can’t remember a time without them! From dogs and cats to horses, exotics, and farm animals, I’ve spent a lifetime surrounded by fur, feathers, and friendship. For the past 20 years, I’ve been raising, training, and showing German Shorthaired Pointers as an active member of the SAGSPC and NGSPC. I’ve also been a dedicated horse owner and rider for over 30 years, which has deepened my understanding of animal behavior, patience, and trust. My philosophy is simple: positive training, gentle structure, and lots of love create calm, confident, and well-mannered companions. At home on my small Wimberley ranch, I share my days with 4 horses, 3 dogs, and one spoiled cat — my beloved family who remind me daily why I do this work. Why Pet Parents Choose Me: • Experienced, knowledgeable & calm under pressure — especially with seniors and special-needs pets. • Skilled in administering medications (oral, injectable, topical, and medicated baths). • Professional communication —daily and after every visit, you’ll receive detailed updates, photos, and notes about how your pet is doing. • Flexible, dependable & responsive — available for last-minute bookings, schedule changes, and travel emergencies. • Trustworthy home care — I treat your home with the same respect and care as your pet. I’m a retired teacher, native Texan, and long-time Wimberley resident, known for being reliable, punctual, honest, and compassionate. As a fit, outdoorsy grandmother of six, I’m active and attentive — your pets will never be bored! My Services: • House Sitting: 8–12 hours overnight with optional midday visits. Includes pet care, playtime, feeding, plant watering, mail/package collection, tidying, and plenty of snuggles. • Dog Walking: 30 minutes of brisk or relaxing walks tailored to your dog’s needs, plus potty breaks and cuddle time. • Drop-In Visits: 30–60 minutes of personalized care — walks, feeding, playtime, meds, litter cleaning, and companionship. • Boarding: Safe, structured, and loving care in my calm home environment. Your pet will enjoy exercise, toys, companionship, and unlimited affection. • Doggy Day Care: Up to 8 hours of supervised fun, play, and comfort in a clean, peaceful setting. I maintain a large, secure fenced yard and separate spaces for individual or group play as needed. My schedule is relaxed and flexible, allowing ample one-on-one time for cuddles, enrichment, and calm. I can’t wait to meet your beloved animal family! I am available most days during the week and on weekends. Dogs staying with me are safe, relaxed, and content as I observe, interact, play, and monitor your pet frequently throughout the day. I have ample indoor spaces, a fenced yard, crates, and separate rooms inside my home to accommodate most dogs and cats. I always supervise, play, and stay with dogs when I have them out in the yard. Housesitting includes care in you per’s own, familiar home without interruption of his daily routine and activities.

About: Time and love! Recently retired with nothing but time and excitement to care for others’ beloved pets, especially because I don’t currently have any of my own. I have a large, fenced in backyard in the quiet hill country. There is a lovely trail for taking walks, and I love to take the pups for rides in the car! I’m experienced in administering and staying on top of medications and treatments. My daughter has two dogs that she sometimes brings for visits. So, if your dog is social, there is an opportunity for playtime with fellow furry friends. Caring for your pets would be my one and only priority. I spend the majority of time at home, and exercise is very important to me so I hope your dog loves to walk! Safety and affection are priority. Keeping a close eye on your pet and always making sure all needs are met is a guarantee when you put them in my care!

About: **please make sure you are within my service area before sending a booking request** I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live on 10 acres in Wimberley. My property is fenced, but because some dogs won’t obey commands from those other than their family and might behave differently in a foreign environment I do not let them off leash. My home and porch are spacious so there is a lot of room to play. (I do have plans to securely fence in a dog area on the ranch, and will be sure to mention it when I do). If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home (which is fine since I work from home much of the time), so your dogs will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. I also have a variety of toys for dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls. I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request.

About: I have grown up around animals and currently care for four cats, so pet care has always been a big part of my daily life! Over the years, I’ve also helped neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, and volunteered with animal shelters, which have given me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and temperaments. I especially enjoy working with cats and have experience with all ages and backgrounds, including cats with specific medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with administering oral and injectable medications, and I’m very attentive to routine, comfort, and stress levels, especially for anxious pets. In addition to cat care, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. Currently, I am most familiar with Labs and Doodles, but have experience walking dogs of different sizes (including puppies!) and breeds through pet sitting and helping neighbors, and I’m confident handling structured walks and daily care routines. I currently work part-time and am in college, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent communication and frequent updates while I’m with your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and prioritize their normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. At this time, I am not boarding dogs in my home. For cat boarding, however, I provide a calm, indoor-focused environment where safety and supervision are always the priority.

About: I have worked with animals most my life. At a young age, I was helping out and working with the animals. As i got older i fell in love with being around any animal i found. In high school i took vet classes. I was able to work with actual animals learning how to bath, simple grooms, nail trims, anal glads and more. I have worked at a vet clinic administering medications, taking animals on walks, restraining, helping sick animals, puppies/kittens, and working with old pets. I will ensure your pets saftey to my full ability. No animal is too much for me and i fall in love with everyone i meet! I will give them the same love and care you you show them! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to play, care and be there for your baby’s! I’m available all week and weekends! I currently only offer pet sitting in your home. I will be very respectful and manner full of my surroundings and beings. I will make sure that your pet is taken care of to the fullest ability following any guidelines you have for your fur baby or otherwise.

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
