About: I am very patient and understanding with dogs and cats and always have a soft spot for animals. I have experience working with older dogs and medication they might need. I am working around a few different aspects such as college schooling, some social gatherings with friends, and overall business. Many weekends I am free and some weekdays I am also free. I do not own any pets but I did watch my friend’s family dogs for many years. I have had a dog and a cat in the past.
About: I have been taking care of pets since my late teens from volunteering at shelters to pet sitting I've done it all! I've taken care of pups from Chihuahuas to Cane Corso's. I also have years of professional experience after working as a receptionist in an animal hospital to now helping manage a dog boarding, daycare and grooming facility in downtown Austin! I do work full time in Austin Sun-Thurs 9-5 however before work, after work and on my days off I have fully dedicated to making sure your pup is loved and well taken care of, however that looks like such as hour long walks or cuddles on the couch, I can do it all! I am trained in Pet CPR However I have not updated my certification, I treat your fur babies how I expect mine to be treated. In a way that keeps them safe, happy, and healthy. I will also send daily updates to let you know how everyone is to keep your mind at ease.
“Best Rover ever! Alex has watched our cat Mika several times now and always takes care of her like she's his own cat. He has watched her overnight before and we feel confident she is safe, happy, and has a clean litter box! We get many pictures and updates each day, and we can tell she really likes Alex from all of the pictures of Mika on his lap and shoulders. Great prices and really helpful that he's been able to watch her even on last minute notice. Thank you Alex!”

“I 100% recommend Ivana for your pet needs!! We are a complicated household of special needs pets and some sibling rivalry that requires us following certain protocols to avoid any issues. Ivana made time to get to know our pets prior to pet sitting for us and walked through our typical routine. When doing her drop-in stop, she did a great job of following all rules and maintaining us updated throughout the way. She was also very punctual - which is crucial for us, given that our pets need medication at specific times.”

About: My husband and I have grown up with a love for taking care of dogs and loving animals. During the pandemic we started fostering dogs with APA and have had a blast! We have 2 dogs, Gus and Ollie, who are couch potatoes and who get along with many different dog sizes and personalities. We both work from home a majority of the week so someone will typically always be home. Our house has plenty of space to roam, toys to play with, and a big yard for your pups to hang and sunbathe. Between my husband and I, there is always someone home to watch the pups and let them outside anytime they need it. We end our days with a good walk around our hilly neighborhood so your pup will definitely have some good exercise during their stay. I have a fenced yard and 2 fur babies who are respectful of other dogs. If your pup prefers a more quiet space on their own we have a loft they can hangout in or a couch they can nap on.
“Trinity was great to work with. She help put my mind at ease as this was the first time I was leaving my babies on a trip and the updates she sent were great! Definitely recommend her!”

“Amber was extremely caring and flexible even after a mistake on our end with our address being labeled incorrectly. She astounded us by being over and above in her care for Bill. We felt very grateful that she was able to care for him over the holiday weekend.”

About: For as long as I can remember, animals have been my whole world. I grew up with dogs and have been caring for pets ever since I adopted my two current chiweenies almost 10 years ago. I have cared for multiple dogs throughout their puppy stage and senior years, with my two dogs being seniors themselves. I have experience looking after both dogs and cats on multiple occasions for family and friends who were either travelling or just needed a little bit of help taking care of their animals. I take pride in being able to give the best care I can for all animals entrusted into my care. I believe that all pets deserve the highest quality care and I would be happy to offer exactly that to all your furry friends. Fueled by my love of animals, I am currently preparing to go to school in the fall to study Wildlife Biology and am looking for a side job to fill my time while also caring for pets. I currently have two dogs that I am the sole caretaker of and I'd be happy to care for any other beloved pets. I believe that all pets deserve the highest quality of care and affection but also realize that every pet has different needs and requirements. I value the owner's notes and guidance on how to best care for their pets whether that be instructions for feeding, giving medication, or managing pet's quirks. I understand that it can be uncomfortable and scary for both the animal and owner to entrust a stranger to care for their pet and I strive to make sure that everyone is comfortable and happy.
“Julie is a top notch cat sitter! In addition to giving my cats the love and play that they need, Julie sends me updates and pictures with every visit, which makes being a way much less stressful. Highly recommend!”

“Olivia is great! She is responsive and I fully trust her with caring for our dog. She's also been helping us out with visitor training for our reactive pup. I sought her out specifically for her experience with reactivity, and she has been a tremendous help. Our dog has warmed up to her pretty quickly! Olivia understands reactivity and the techniques required when dealing with these issues. Olivia is patient, calm, and knows how to interact with our overly excited and fearful pup!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—furred, feathered, and even aquatic—so caring for pets feels very natural to me. I raised my own dog from the time she was about 2 months old, and she’s now 5, so I have plenty of hands-on experience with puppy training, daily routines, and long-term care. I also help my boyfriend with his dogs, including caring for puppies as well as his three adult dogs, which has given me experience handling multiple dogs with different personalities at once. I’m currently a college student, but I have a very flexible schedule. I especially enjoy night time walks and early morning walks. I am adaptable and can work around any needed scheduled to ensure your pet's absolute enrichment and care. I care for pets by creating a calm, safe, and predictable environment—whether in my home a client’s, or out and about walking, while following each pet’s routine as closely as possible.
“Melinda did a fantastic job for taking care of my sick fur puppy. I felt comfortable and at ease with Melinda looking after Coco and she kept me updated with photos every visit. Would happily have her look after CoCo again. I would highly recommend Melinda.”

“Heidi was great with my dogs. One of them has separation anxiety and is usually scared of new people due to past abuse, but she was so patient with him and he is already starting to warm up to her, which is something we have not experienced before. I felt completely at ease leaving my dogs and home in her care. I will definitely rebook with her in the future and I already have two more appointments scheduled.”

“We were so pleased with Ellie’s first weekend dropping in to feed and play with our boxer Sadie that we booked her for housesitting for five nights later in the summer. Sadie warmed to her quickly, and we returned to a happy, healthy doggie. She was on time every time and sent photos every visit. Absolutely no problems.”

Rebekah & Gloria took INCREDIBLE care of my 2 pups and I’m so grateful! They followed every detailed instruction, and went the extra steps to ensure they were well taken care of during their drop ins - from feeding them breakfast to walking them down to the park without even having to ask. It was down pouring the week they came over, and they were so considerate in carrying my smaller pup who hates the grass to go potty and drying off my bigger dog after getting wet fur and muddy paws. My pups hadn’t done a meet and greet beforehand, upon walking in they didn’t even bark! After each visit they included so many photos and details about their visit which is so so appreciated for all of those anxious dog mammas out there. I truly think dogs know good energy and warmed up to them right away. I would 10/10 recommend them and use them in the future! Thank yall so much.

I 100% recommend Ivana for your pet needs!! We are a complicated household of special needs pets and some sibling rivalry that requires us following certain protocols to avoid any issues. JR was fantastic with Honey! He was very caring, attentive, and clearly treated her like his own. He sent plenty of photos and updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how reliable and communicative he was throughout the visit. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated his help, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Highly recommend! 🐾😊

Ariel is so amazing!! She took great care of our pups and sent the most through reports. We will continue to use her for drop ins for as long as she’s available! She truly loves animals and was so sweet to our two. You can tell she truly cares and loves her job!

Whit is AMAZING!! He truly went above and beyond for my 2 pups. They require a little extra care when it comes to feeding schedules and even for accommodating my ever changing work schedule, neither of which have been an issue which has been such a blessing. Excellent communication and care for them. My bigger dog is most often hesitant of males but upon meeting him without a prior meet or greet, he loved him and warmed up right away! I couldn’t feel more at ease knowing they’re in his care. Thank you whit!

We used Michelle a second time so that we could go out on a long date night in Austin. This morning, I reviewed the security videos from last night to see how it went and came to the unfortunate realization that Michelle + treats + FURocious children = FUR babies. They were trying to bark and growl at Michelle, but they were wagging their tails and eating treats out of her hands. Michelle did a wonderful job taking care of our kids.

Emma was incredibly kind and attentive, going out of her way to make my puppy feel comfortable. She approached my puppy with such warmth and patience that he immediately trusted her. From the very first interaction, she handled him gently, making sure he felt safe and cared for. Within no time, they developed a wonderful bond—my puppy wagged his tail excitedly whenever she was around, and it was clear they had become fast friends. Her helpfulness and genuine affection truly stood out, leaving a lasting impression.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
