“Jordan was absolutely amazing! This was our first time using Rover, so we were a bit nervous at first, but Jordan went out of her way to make us feel comfortable from the very beginning. She offered to meet our dogs before we left, which really helped make us feel better and was so attentive and reliable throughout the entire stay. She was also super patient with our very energetic Labrador- she worked super well with her! She kept us updated with messages and lots of photos, which we really appreciated. She even offered to walk our dogs and check in on them extra when she didn’t have to. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teeneager and have been a pet parent for just as many years. I currently have two boston terriers of my own, Cooper and Chloe. I'm semi retired and have lots of availability. i love dogs of all kinds and it gives me great pleasure to interact with and care for dogs. About: Until I moved to start my MA, I’ve been lucky enough to spend my entire life with dogs of all ages and energy levels by my side. I’d love to show your companion some love and care while you’re away. I’m available 7 days a week in the mornings and evenings and I’m available all day on the weekends. Between studying and teaching as I pursue my MA in archaeology at Texas State University, I often take breaks by gardening and hiking, and I would love to share the fresh air with a furry friend. Taking your companion out for a walk or playdate would make my day! I’m unable to own a pet at my current residence, but I’m happy to provide in-home care at your residence or in a public space. I’m comfortable feeding/watering, bathroom needs, and spending time with pets indoors or outdoors.

I've had several senior pets and am confident in caring for them and have raised dogs from puppies and am comfortable caring for them as well. I work from home and can work from anywhere so pet sitting works well with my schedule. There are only a few days a week where I have meetings at a particular time, otherwise I can work around the pet needs. Lq I care for pets by creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that keeps normal routines as consistent as possible. I follow each pets feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions carefully and make sure doors, and gates are secure. Building trust is very important to me. I take time to get to know each pet's personality, respect their boundaries, and provide plenty of patience, , attention, and positive interaction. I also keep the home clean and tidy, properly clean up after pets, and watch for any changes in their behavior, appetite and overall well-being.

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with small dogs, and over the years I've lived with and cared for cats and medium to large dogs owned by family, roommates, and neighbors. Today I own two cats and regularly watch friends' pets when they travel. I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes and I treat every pet in my care the way I'd want mine treated. I currently work from home, which means pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around a commute. I'm able to visit at consistent times for feedings, walks, and playtime, and I'm flexible enough to adjust visit times if a pet needs extra attention or a different routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines and rules as closely as possible so the pet's environment stays familiar and low-stress. I always confirm entry/exit procedures, secure doors and gates behind me, and check that food, water, and litter are addressed on schedule. I treat each home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, and I stay attentive to a pet's body language and comfort level throughout each visit, always reaching out to the owner if anything seems off.
