“Duncan took great care of our house and 3 dogs! He came over ahead of time to meet them and make sure they were comfortable then stayed 3 nights over Thanksgiving. He communicated well and sent lots of pictures and videos. We will definitely ask him back!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I watched my dad and my older brother train dogs for a living. I love spending time with dogs and getting to hang out with them and bring joy to their day I currently work full-time employee, but that does not stop me from taking care of my dog at home. I take him on walks every day when I get off of work. We have a blast on the weekends together, going on walks and spending time at the dog park together. I live in a studio apartment that has two fenced-in dog parks. My apartment complex also has a little walking trail. I also have a friendly six-year -old lab, who is a honey bunny, who loves to play with other dogs.

About: Im a college student with a very flexible schedule, I’ve been dog sitting on the side for family friends and relatives since my freshman year in high school. I grew up with two dogs to which I helped take care of until their final days, I’ve watched Dogs ranging from Labs, Retrievers, Pitbulls, King Charles, Dashounds, etc. I absolutely love dogs and I can assure you your dog will get the best care possible! About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. The photos here are of the field in front of my place, where dogs can run and play (fenced in).

“Kelley was absolutely wonderful with Molly and Maggie. I’m so excited to have her taking care of our girls.”

About: G'day! I recently moved from Sydney Australia to the Canyon Lake area. I'm a big German Shepard lover as you could probably tell by my photos. I've hired a similar service back home and understand the stress and worry of leaving a fur baby behind. I'm a big fan of communicating with the owners and sending regular updates. I've lived with and owned dogs for 5+ years now. When I'm not working at the doggy daycare, I love spending my free time walking and exploring the Hill Country. It would be great to have a furry friend join me on these adventures! I miss my dog back home in Sydney and am looking for ways to fill my spare time. I have a friendly Husky and a quiet cat, and there's plenty of space for a crate and dog beds. I treat all animals as if they were my own and always show respect for a client's home. If I can leave the house cleaner than I found it, that’s a win for me!

About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats for many years. I know that they are all unique and need different things. I adapt well to their needs while keeping them safe and comfortable. Do you need me to administer medications? I can do that too. Just let me know! I am looking to combine caring for pets through Rover and as a relief vet tech my primary sources of income, this way I can control more my schedule and I get to spend more happy times with pets. We all know that our furry friends can get in trouble really easily, in my daily life I am very careful with my own pets, keeping the doors closed, ensuring that there is nothing toxic left laying around, not providing dangerous objects that may be mistaken as toys to any of my pets. I do the same at my clients’ homes, I double, triple check that nothing can harm a pet that is under my care.

“We have booked Monique twice to look after our dogs. Both are rescues, and one is a nervous nelly, to the point of being scared to going out the front door. Loud noises scare him, he's got a bunch of anxiety, etc.. He warmed up to Monique probably within the first 30 minutes of her watching him, which was SO WONDERFUL and mostly solidified booking Monique again. She has a lot of experience with dogs and it shows. She is very good with sending picture, video and text updates. We will be booking her again soon to watch over our boys!”
