“I really appreciate how after every visit she gives a summary WITH pictures of what happened, like how much they ate, if they played or cuddled, plus funny side notes. She is very informative, a fast replier, and updates daily. This sets her apart from any pet sitter I’ve used! My scaredy cats love her!!! This is my 3rd time booking with Victoria, and will be booking again.”

“Where do I start on how wonderful Sheena is with my 3 dogs, Foxy, Houdini and Freddie! My dogs lover her and she goes above and beyond to make sure they have fun, do their business and the dogs are ready for bed with no muss or fuss! Sheena's photos each day are so good, she just captures them and how thrilled they are to be with her! I recommend Sheena highly and would give her 100 stars if I could. You will not be disappointed if Sheena is available to help you with your pups. Jo”

“Lauren did a drop in visit for our 3 dogs. We are so happy with the service provided. The sitter sent us great updates and photos, and our dogs were clearly well cared for and happy during the drop-in.🐾”

About: Hi, I’m Grace! I’m a dependable, active, and compassionate animal lover who treats every pet like family. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, medication, or just plenty of love while you’re away, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I believe in keeping pet parents updated, so you can expect regular photos and messages during every visit. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat your home and your furry family member with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. When I’m not working in physical therapy, I enjoy staying active, being outdoors, and spending time with animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work full-time during the week, so my primary availability is on weekends. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m excited to spend my free time caring for your pets. I’ll always communicate my availability clearly and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a gated apartment community with plenty of safe walking areas, a dog park, and nearby parks for longer walks if appropriate. I also have one friendly cat who gets along well with dogs. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow your routines closely, provide lots of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.
“Stephanie took such great care of my kitties while I was out of town! She made sure to spend time with them and sent lots of photos during each visit so I knew they were safe and happy. She was prompt with each visit and communicates well. It is clear by how much care Stephanie gives that she loves animals, and I am grateful for the peace of mind knowing that my kitties were in good hands. 10/10 ☺️”

“Jessica gave great and attentive care to our cat Olive over a long weekend. She was thoughtful to ask about the timing of her first check-in and spaced the next few evenly after that, which we appreciated. We loved seeing all the pictures she added to her check-in reports! It was great to see her not only giving food and doing litter cleanup, but also engaging with and playing with Olive. We will use Jessica again in the future.”

About: Growing up we've always had dogs in the home. From Pitty-Lab mixes to aussies, I've seen them all. Our family are huge dog lovers - which is how I earned my love for animals overall. I now work as a Primate Caretaker with two years of professional experience working with wildlife, exotic birds, and primates. This experience makes me a wonderful match to work with your little babies! I work full time as a Primate Caretaker, but can always make time in my schedule to visit and care for your animals before and/or after work! Depending on your location, I can drop by 5-6am and 6-9pm on weekdays, excluding Tuesday and Wednesday where I am available all day In your home I can provide quality care for all types of companions. With my knowledge in wildlife rescue, and primate caregiving & my experience in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) I've worked with everything. You can trust me with the knowledge and experience to take care of your little babies

About: Hello! My name is Jordan and I'm looking to pet sit for you and your loved ones. I've cared for puppies and elderly dogs, shy and outgoing dogs, and dogs of all breeds and needs. No matter the type of dog(s) you have, I look forward to befriending and caring for them! I make sure to listen to your dog’s body language to see what they are asking for. Their tails, eyes, and body is their way of communicating their needs, wants, and feelings. Alongside their body language, I'll also follow any directions and make sure they feel safe and content by replicating their usual schedule. I don't mind taking care of chores around the house, like watering your plants or checking the mail. I will also make sure to send lots of pictures, videos, and updates to keep your heart at ease. A little about me: I am a 25 year old digital artist and a graduate from Kennesaw State University. I lived in Georgia all of my life until I moved here in 2024 with my partner. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, playing video games, reading, and baking. I’m thankful to say that pet sitting is currently my full time job! I’ve had lots of luck as a cat sitter on Meowtel and would like to expand my services to this platform, too. I usually plan my days around my clients’ schedules, meaning I can take care of your pet at any time. The safety and comfort of your loved ones are a priority of mine, so I try to stick to their usual schedule. Whether that means feeding times that come early in the morning or in the middle of rush hour! I’ve got you and your furry friend’s back. I always prioritize safety and trust when it comes to animals. Animals are very sensitive to change, especially because we can’t communicate to them what’s going on (not yet, at least.) For that reason, I try to bring in a positive and calm attitude, letting your pet decide what they are comfortable with and making sure they know I’m not a threat. I do this by moving confidently, but not quickly. I don’t make loud noises and I make sure your pet knows where I am. It’s important to me that they don’t think I’m trying to sneak around and to make sure they feel included with whatever I’m doing around their own environment. I give them space and don’t try to force any affection from them. If they want pets, I trust they will ask for them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
