About: Been around dogs since I was a child. I take every opportunity I can to be near them. Even the tough ones. I have a lot of patience and empathy for dogs that seem stressed or lack impulse control. I observe behavior before making suggestions on how I can help. I have had some dog training with my prior dogs and learned a tremendous amount and I am currently taking courses to become a dog trainer. I have experience with dogs with general anxiety and separation issues, senior dogs, and high energy dogs. I really do love and appreciate all their unique quirks and personalities. I'm centering my life around dogs, I am self employed and working towards a dog training certification. Tho I have gained experience from hiring trainers to work with my dogs in the past. I believe dogs are a gift to humans, and even the challenging ones deserve patience and love. I have a fenced area in my yard for dogs to play, or they are in my house. I consider my animals to be family members. I love to take them on walks and play, they are my adventure pals and my emotional support pals. I would love to walk yours or just drop in for playtime, and always incorporate alittle training, as my experience has shown me animals thrive when they have a good balance of safety and stimulation. I always treat each animal as unique but I also believe in a good foundation and calm yet assertive interactions.
About: I’ve always taken care of neighbors and friends dogs growing up and I take my own dogs on long walks at the park and make sure to feed them the best food we can. I love giving them baths and training them! About: Ive worked in kennel and veterinary assistance. Which included walking, and boarding dogs for multiple days or weeks. As well as I'm in the process of becoming a dog trainer. I'm even training my own service dog currently. I'm currently unemployed so this is my entire day. I'm working towards becoming a dog trainer but for the most part my day is currently wide open. In any situation safety is key for not only me but also the pets themselves. 9 out of 10 times a dog or cat will just be anxious or scared of a new situation and unsure of how to react. About: Hi, I’m Anastassia! I’m big animal lover and an experienced dog sitter/walker. During my time living in Bermuda, I’ve worked with numerous families as a pet sitter, taking care of about 10-13 animals in the span of 3 years from border terriers to Hungarian Vizsla to one cheeky Bengal kitty. In New York City, where I’m originally from, I was part of a cat boarding network called Kitty In NY, taking in few cats into my house for several weeks and giving them love while their owners were on vacation/ traveling for work. I've had my own cats, rabbits and even a pet chicken. I’m currently a dog mom to an almost 4 year old husky girl. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
