About: I grew up with 3 dogs, 12 cows, and 1 donkey named Sassy! I absolutely love taking care of pets, and I have a passion for helping others, which makes this role a perfect fit for me. While I’m new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to pet care. I have years of experience caring for animals, including looking after my sister’s two cats, pet and house sitting for friends, caring for my own dogs, and growing up on a farm. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets and your home, and I’ll always treat them with the same attention and care I would want for my own. Outside of my love for furry friends, I’m a graduate student at Texas State studying psychology with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. I’m an enthusiastic and friendly person who loves being outdoors and staying active. I would love to meet you and your pet to see if we would be a great fit! As a grad student, I have a pretty flexible schedule outside of my classes. Whether you need an early riser or a night owl, I’m your gal! About: I have over 6 years of professional pet care experience, beginning at Petco in 2018. I worked in multiple positions, including Doggy Daycare Associate and Professional Dog Groomer, giving me extensive experience caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities, needs, and behaviors. I also became very knowledgeable about pet products, nutrition, and general pet care. I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love and care for every pet as if they were my own. I also worked on an exotic ranch for 2 years. :) Your pets will receive patience, attention, affection, and professional-level care while they’re with me! I work at a school, so I have a consistent schedule and get off around 3:15 PM, leaving most of my evenings free for pet care. I’m also an early morning person, so mornings and midday work especially well for me on weekends. Some weekends I’m completely open, which gives me plenty of flexibility for longer visits, walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I love being able to fit pet care into my routine and give pets the attention and companionship they deserve! When caring for pets in their home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and potty breaks.
