My 15 year old cat requires multiple medications that can sometimes be difficult to administer and she was able to administer with no issues. About: Hello! My name is Jordan and I'm looking to pet sit for you and your loved ones. I've cared for puppies and elderly dogs, shy and outgoing dogs, and dogs of all breeds and needs. No matter the type of dog(s) you have, I look forward to befriending and caring for them! I make sure to listen to your dog’s body language to see what they are asking for. Their tails, eyes, and body is their way of communicating their needs, wants, and feelings. I always prioritize safety and trust when it comes to animals. Animals are very sensitive to change, especially because we can’t communicate to them what’s going on (not yet, at least.) For that reason, I try to bring in a positive and calm attitude, letting your pet decide what they are comfortable with and making sure they know I’m not a threat. I do this by moving confidently, but not quickly. I don’t make loud noises and I make sure your pet knows where I am. It’s important to me that they don’t think I’m trying to sneak around and to make sure they feel included with whatever I’m doing around their own environment. I give them space and don’t try to force any affection from them. If they want pets, I trust they will ask for them!

About: I've had pets in my home for most of my life! Mostly cats, but I've also had rabbits, chickens, and various other animals. When I was 19 I got my soul dog, a sweet german shepherd who developed a seizure disorder in her senior years, so I'm very comfortable caring for pets with medical issues and special needs, and know how hard it can be to find a trusted sitter. I spent the last six years living in southeast Alaska, so I'm more than happy to go adventuring (or just walking) in any weather! I mainly work evenings for short periods (4-6 hour shifts), so my availability is very flexible during the day, and your pets will never need to be alone for too long. I'm very detail oriented and attentive to any special instructions and needs. I always ensured easy access to clean, fresh water, adequate play time, potty breaks, and any messes are cleaned in a timely manner.
