About: Hello! My name is Jordan and I'm looking to pet sit for you and your loved ones. I've cared for puppies and elderly dogs, shy and outgoing dogs, and dogs of all breeds and needs. No matter the type of dog(s) you have, I look forward to befriending and caring for them! I make sure to listen to your dog’s body language to see what they are asking for. Their tails, eyes, and body is their way of communicating their needs, wants, and feelings. The safety and comfort of your loved ones are a priority of mine, so I try to stick to their usual schedule. Whether that means feeding times that come early in the morning or in the middle of rush hour! I’ve got you and your furry friend’s back. I always prioritize safety and trust when it comes to animals. Animals are very sensitive to change, especially because we can’t communicate to them what’s going on (not yet, at least.) For that reason, I try to bring in a positive and calm attitude, letting your pet decide what they are comfortable with and making sure they know I’m not a threat. I do this by moving confidently, but not quickly. I don’t make loud noises and I make sure your pet knows where I am. It’s important to me that they don’t think I’m trying to sneak around and to make sure they feel included with whatever I’m doing around their own environment. I give them space and don’t try to force any affection from them. If they want pets, I trust they will ask for them!

About: Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of sharing my home with a variety of furry friends. Each of these pets has brought unique personalities enriching my days. Through this, I have learned responsibility, empathy, and unconditional love. My pet care experience started when I was young while living with my mom and now into adulthood. At a young age, I would watch my friends and families' dogs. Then, as I got older I had gigs all on my own. I have done dog sitting in the person's home and have hosted the dog myself. I have watched anywhere from 1 to 5 dogs at a time. I understand all the different needs of an animal and can read their social cues towards others. I am very understanding and have personal experience raising a puppy and helping a dog into old age. I love going for walks and playing fetch with my puppy and others. About: I believe what sets me apart is my experience working in a veterinary clinic, where I’ve gained hands-on knowledge of animal health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications, recognizing signs of illness, and staying calm in stressful situations.
