About: My lifelong devotion to animals spans decades, beginning at age 7 when I rescued ducklings and extending through a lifetime of loving diverse companions. What sets me apart is the sheer breadth of my hands-on background. Over the years, I have personally owned and shared my life with a wide spectrum of breeds—including a Belgian Shepherd, Staffordshire Terrier, Blue Heeler, and a Miniature Schnauzer. Because I am entirely unphased by size, distinct instinctual traits, or high energy levels, I am uniquely equipped to adapt to your dog's specific personality and look after them exactly as they are. As a self-paced online college student, my schedule is incredibly flexible. Because I can study from anywhere, I can easily adapt my routine to fit your pet's needs right in the comfort of their own home. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in for a visit, your pet will get plenty of companionship. For dogs who love to lounge, I am happy to provide all the couch snuggles and belly rubs they can handle—they make the perfect study breaks for me! If they need 100% undivided attention or an active companion for a structured neighborhood walk, I am fully available. My care and deep respect extend to all family members, including independent felines—having raised both a Persian and a Maine Coon. I am also uniquely comfortable with a wide variety of animals. When you trust me to care for your home and your pets, you are getting a seasoned, versatile caretaker who honors your exact routine, respects every unique boundary, and treats your animals like family. As a self-paced online college student, my day is incredibly flexible, allowing me to fully prioritize your pet's routine. Because my coursework does not tie me down to rigid class times, I am available throughout the day for house sitting and drop-in care. I can easily adjust my schedule to align with your pet's established walking, feeding, and potty break times, ensuring they experience zero disruption while you are away. Safety and respect for boundaries are the foundations of my care. When staying in your home or dropping in, my first priority is securing the environment by ensuring doors, gates, and windows are locked tight. I closely follow all instructions regarding dietary restrictions, feeding schedules, and household rules. Because every animal communicates differently, I pay close attention to body language to ensure they feel safe and relaxed. Whether it means keeping a young pup's training routine perfectly consistent or knowing exactly where a timid cat likes to hide when meeting someone new, I manage your home and your pets with the utmost vigilance and care.

“Savannah and Gabriel are great with my puppy Peaches!! They are attentive to her needs and provide me with photos/updates during the day. She also comes home tired after playing with their doggie!! They’re the best!!”

“Frances was fantastic! She kept us in the loop about how our beloved puppy was doing all day while in daycare. We appreciate the amount of activity she initiated, and the fact that her dogs made great friends to help calm our dog. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Although new to official pet sitting, I’ve owned and taken care of dogs most of my adult life. I’m a retired yoga teacher with a very playful 9 month old Frenchton. I have lots of time and patience to take care of your pooch. I’m retired so I control my own schedule. I’m available 2-3 days a week. We are pet parents to a lovable Frenchton pup, so it will be important to communicate to make sure our furries are compatible. I have a large fenced in yard with a dog door and a wide open floor plan for the dogs to play inside. I will only ever take on one pet at a time so the only compatibility issues will revolve around matching up with our goofy 9 month old Frenchton.
“Rachel and Justin are nothing short of phenomenal! Leaving my puppy Queenie in their care was the best decision I made. They treated her like a member of their own family, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well-cared for. Their flexibility and warm welcome immediately eased any nerves I had about leaving her with strangers. Queenie not only loved spending time with them but also adored their fur children and their son. I couldn’t be happier with the love and attention they provided. I’ll definitely be choosing Rachel and Justin again in the future for their exceptional care and genuine love for dogs!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets truly brings me joy. My best buddy is Tugboat, an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd who’s full of love for other dogs (but not so much for cats, unfortunately!). I work from home, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away I work from home and I am only ever gone for a few hours at a time if any. I already walk my dog everyday so your pup would fit right into our routine I have a fenced in backyard and neighborhood trails. I have crates that I would use if I do have to leave the dogs for a short period
“Highly recommend! My dog has dementia which means he's constantly having his brains turn more and more into mash potatoes. Patches was able to provide exceptional care with all his special needs and I never worried about him bc he was in such good hands! 😻 Meow!”

“Thorough, accommodating and a good instinct for animals, Nanda was great for keeping our two heeler mixes company with her while we worked over three long days. Great with both our puppy and seven-year-old, she's a relief to have as an option to watch the dogs.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have always loved them. We always had dogs growing up, but I never had my very own until I adopted Frankie just over three years ago and he has completely magnified my love for dogs! We moved to Austin in October of 2017, and I am just now reactivating my account here. We had over 40 different guests while we lived in Seattle, most of which became repeat visitors. We've had dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and energy levels stay with us. We have yet to meet a dog that Frankie does not get along with. We have loved every one of our Rover guests, and we can't wait to meet more here in Austin! My schedule is very flexible, as I only work away from home in the afternoons, so your dog will have a lot of human (and dog) interaction. This also makes drop off and pick up times pretty flexible.
About: My wife and I have been dog sitting for multiple friends over the years and as Rover sitters since August 2020! We both love meeting new furry friends (and their owners) - we have 2 small dogs of our own. We do prefer to sit dogs with low to medium energy levels (to accommodate our elderly dog) and 2 years or older, but we can definitely make exceptions on age and energy level with a Meet & Greet. I work from home, so I’m readily available to keep your pet companion company while you’re away on vacation, business or if your grumpy mother-in-law who doesn’t like dogs is in town. Our home has a wide open floor plan with plenty of room to accommodate the even rowdy (but well mannered), playful ones, and has a very secure backyard. Happy to take your loved one on walks (except during afternoons in summer), on outings to the park and make any other accommodations to make their stay as comfortable and stress free as possible while they’re separated from their 'hooman'.

“Emma was amazing with my dog and her dog, Beau, is the sweetest boy ever! As a first time Rover user, my anxiety quickly melted away after meeting Emma and introducing our dogs. I knew I was leaving my boy in the best possible hands and would not hesitate to recommend Emma!!”

“Absolutely recommend Daniel, My pet absolutely loves spending time with him and gets so excited every time he sees him. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and care, which gives me total peace of mind whenever I’m away. He is professional and very reliable. He also keeps me posted by sharing photos and videos!”

“Heather was an absolute gem with our high-energy golden retriever, Luca! She handled his energy perfectly and kept us in the loop with frequent video updates that showed just how happy and settled he was. We especially appreciated how she accommodated our request to keep him off the furniture. We'd book Heather again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Amanda and Jared were super sweet people! Amanda took great care of our dog who has separation anxiety. She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and assured our dog received the best care. I would 100% book her again!”
“Our pup, Nova, LOVED Tayler and her wife! You best believe I will be having them watch her again at some point. Nova had so much fun with her 3 doggos and it wore Nova out so she came home calm and tired and relaxed :) which makes my evening nice too!”

“Mike is amazing! He’s great at communication - I get updates all day long on the dogs and he also takes them on a ton of walks during the day. I can tell he really loves the dogs and my dogs run to his house from the car every time we arrive. Mike is also super accommodating to my work schedule and other things going on in my personal life - highly recommend!”
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I truly believe that a dog is man's best friend, and they are just as much a part of any family as we are! I have helped to take care of friends and family members dogs as well. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am available to step away and take your pet for a walk as well as drop in on your pet. When at your home, I make sure that they are fed per your instructions and have gone to the restroom once when I get there and once before I leave.

“Riley is so sweet and attentive to my two pups! My pups get to take long walks around the neighborhood or have special playtime in the yard. One of my pups requires lots of fresh water due to medications she is on, and Riley always makes sure her bowl is filled to the brim and she drinks readily. Highly recommend him!”

About: I've taken care of my own dogs since they were puppies up to their now senior age of 10, so I know how to care for dogs across all ages. But not only my own. I've helped care for people with senior dogs, volunteered at pet shelters, and generally tried to make the lives of as many pets as I can happier! I love pets (especially dogs), so the more time I can spend with our four-legged friends, the better! The only thing preventing me from spending time with other people's pets is taking care of my own two dogs :) In your house, I would care for your dog as if it were my own! My dogs can sometimes be a bit rowdy, so I don't often have other dogs stay at my place for long periods of time.

About: Hi! I’m passionate about providing safe, loving, and reliable care for pets of all kinds! I have 6 years of experience working in a veterinary office, where I gained valuable knowledge about animal health, behavior, medication administration, and recognizing signs that a pet may need extra attention. This experience has helped me become comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your fur-babies. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, so I know firsthand the patience, attention, and love that animals deserve every day. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, or specialized care, I will treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to provide peace of mind while you're away and ensure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for in my hands, so be on the look out for daily pictures and updates. :) I currently work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day. Because I’m not commuting to an office, I’m able to maintain your pet’s normal routine, provide regular potty breaks, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship, and ensure they aren’t left alone for long periods of time. When caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I will provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, and any medications or special care they may need. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, interactive play, cuddle time, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs and personality. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, tidy, and secure throughout my stay. I'll clean up after your pets, maintain their feeding and living areas, and leave your home in the same condition, or better, than I found it. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.
“Best ever! Have watched our pup multiple times and we try to use them every time if possible. Easy to communicate with, daily pics, easy pick up and drop off. Our pup loves it too, he doesn’t want to leave!”

“Elijah was communicative and took the time to meet and learn about my dog. My pup was happy and well taken care of. Will definitely be requesting Elijah in the future.”

“Marc was great! We met at a dog park before the booking to see how my two dogs got along with sweet Floof. You can tell Marc really loves dogs. He sent lots of photos each day I was gone and it was clear my two pups had a great time! Thanks Marc! Will book again!”

“Amanda is great! She’s watched our pups several times for extended periods of time and is always super responsive and sends tons of pictures :) We know whenever we leave our dogs with her they’re in great hands and we can’t recommend her enough!!”

“Angie was amazing to our boy Finn. They really loved him while we were on an extended trip. Angie was great at sending pictures of Finn and he really settled in with their family. We would definitely stay with Angie and her family again, and would highly recommend her to others.”
