I have almost always had a dog in the house and find it not quite home without one. I love going on walks with our Boxer, his enthusiasm never gets old. I am patient and consistent and like to combine learning with fun. Volunteering with a dog rescue, I have had the opportunity to be around a lot of different dog personalities and it has given me a ton of experience and knowledge in handling situations and helped me to learn how to work with various types of personalities. I love walking dogs, its such great quiet time and so good for a dogs well being. I am adamant about safe walks which means understanding the dog and following rules, such as safe distance from other people and dogs, wearing the right gear (collar, harness, etc).
