About: I’ve always grown up with dogs, worked at a vet clinic when I was younger, and became a doggie foster as an adult. I have experience caring for senior pups as well. I'll treat your pup as a loved family member. Rest assured, your fur baby will be in good hands. I am mostly a stay a home mom. I take my dog to the dog park daily, and when the weather is nice we will walk Town Lake. I have cameras in my home and on the property. If I am not home I can take a look at how the dogs are doing. About: We're a family of four with two little girls (ages 4 and 2) and a stinky cute old pug. We're located on the north end of MI and have an enclosed yard for your dog (plus an extra enclosed space on the side of the house) and a wrap a round porch. Our door is pretty much always open so the dogs can go in and out as they please and our gates are super secure so unless your dog is a digger, they're safe in our yard. We also only board dogs who are two or older. :-) I'm at home every day and gone no more than a few hours to run my kids around to their activities each day. I've taken the dogs I've watched with me on all errands if they like car rides so they're pretty much around someone 90% of the time they stay with us. Our house is three stories and our current Pug is 8 years old and mostly blind so she sleeps a large portion of the day. She will sniff other dogs but that's the extent of her socializing and she will mostly just ignore guests. My girls and I love animals and your dog would feel like part of our family! Your dog would go on daily walks and if they're comfortable in cars, running my errands with me and my girls! We have an extra crate if your dog wants to sleep there or they can sleep with us in our bed or with one of my girls.

She scheduled a meet and greet before his stay and allowed all of her dogs to meet our puppy, Frodo, one at a time so he wouldn’t be overwhelmed. During his stay, she sent great photos and videos all day long. It was a muddy day and she let all of the dogs outside to play and explore anyway, and she even washed him up for me before I picked up! He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free.
