“Alyssa did a wonderful job checking on our pup while we were away. She did a great job communicating how our girl was doing. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. My background includes daily feeding routines, administering basic medications, leash walks, playtime, and providing lots of affection and attention. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and comfort levels. I work a remote full time job. If I’m needed more frequently, all I’d ask is to be allowed to work from your location. Otherwise, I’m on a 9-5 work schedule and can be available for one hour, typically between 11am and 1pm, and every evening. Pet care fits smoothly into my daily and weekly routine. I am available after 3:30 pm daily, which allows me to reliably focus on feeding times, walks, okay sessions, and quality one-on-one care in the afternoons and evenings.
About: work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care—whether they’re staying with me or I’m staying with them. I work remotely full-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time with the pets in my care—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m house sitting in theirs. For dogs staying with me, I’m home throughout the day for plenty of attention, supervision, and frequent potty and play breaks in our fenced yard. They’re welcome to hang out with me while I work or find a comfortable spot to relax and nap. When I’m house sitting, I can work remotely from your home so your pets can enjoy the same companionship while staying in their familiar environment. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and downtime. Wherever I’m caring for your pet, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make their time away from you feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my priority. I pay close attention to body language, behavior, and each pet’s individual needs, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, medication, exercise, and care routines. In my home, I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to play, relax, or take a break when they need one. I’m experienced with multi-dog households, different play styles, and recognizing when a dog needs some space. I also have gates to block access to stairs or separate areas of the home when needed, as well as multiple large crates for dogs who are crate-trained and feel most comfortable having their own space. When I’m house sitting, I’ll care for your pets and your home with the same attention I give my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s usual routine, respect any household rules or safety precautions, and make sure your home is secure while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and well cared for.
“Kellie did an amazing job on the drop-in visits with our two cats! I love my girls very much, so having someone trustworthy to check in on them while we were out of town meant a lot to me. It made my entire night getting back to the hotel on our wedding night to see the sweet updates they wrote about them both! Fell asleep with an even bigger smile on my face than I already had! Thanks so much for taking care of our babies! Would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. :)”

“As always, I feel so confident that my kitty is taken care of when Kaleigh is around! She sends super detailed updates and I can truly relax on vacation. Highly recommend her for your next sitting!”

“Mara was awesome with our cats!! She was great at reaching out, and just generally checking in about the boys. She also was super attentive when we were teaching her how to administer mediation to one of our cats We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have trained and cared for my own dogs, both small and large breeds, all of my life. As a volunteer at animal shelters here in Austin and the Bay Area in California, I have learned to manage and adapt to varied—and sometimes difficult—dog personalities, temperaments, and needs. I am also very comfortable with large animals, having owned and trained my own horses for decades. As a retired journalist and journalism professor, I bring trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent communication to animal care. I can provide walks, engaging playtime, comfort for anxious animals, and administration of simple medications. I will also strictly follow the owners' guidance and preferences on things like allowing dogs on furniture or beds. Please note: While I am an expert animal caretaker, I am new to the Rover platform. I am currently offering introductory rates for a limited time while I build my local profile.I I work from home as a writer/reasercher on my own flexible schedule. i can accommodate your and your pets' schedules on weekdays as well as weekends. I provide walks as needed, playtime, comforting if he or she is anxious, simple medicstions and wound-dressing, and and of course feeding and watering on their schedule.
About: Trained my Australian shepherd when I was young and have lived with animals my whole life. I am very good at reading animal body language and personalities from having animals my entire life. All 4 of my childhood pets lived well past their regular life expectancies due to very diligent vet work and exercise. I have dog say senior dogs with special needs, puppies, cats, rodents, and birds. I love animals and honestly any excuse to meet new ones is very exciting. I can always work Sundays and Fridays and I have time Tuesday and wednesday evenings to check in on them when needed or go on a little walk. My cat is fed 3 times a day for a total of 2/3 cup of food, he has a play routine before bed, is let on the balcony for fresh air with his harness and a line connected to the door so he cannot get to the edge of the concrete. He takes his flea meds every month, and goes to the vet every 6 for a little check in as he’s on a small weight loss journey. I work 6-8hrs a day 5 days a week but luckily he has a a cat roommate to nap and play with while I’m gone

We would love company & play time on my days off :) I allow pets to roam freely and they are allowed on furniture. I have a porch that is fenced in and give walks around my complex frequently. I have toys and treats but feel free to bring their fav :) I pay attention and make sure they are not in harms way and treated with love and care.
“Julian was amazing with our two cats! He showed up everyday on time and left detailed descriptions of what he and the cats got up to! We looked forward to the fun pictures and videos he would send at the end of each visit. We know our cats were in great hands while we were away and we will be booking with him again in the future!”

About: I grew up walking, feeding and playing with small and large dogs. Ive watched friends’ younger cats and cared for two of my own high need senior kitties. I will primarily be free later in the day. I am off on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays so on those days I am more able to devote time. I keep a tidy environment to ensure the safety, healthy, and happiness of all pets. I make sure to keep everything organized to best take care of all necessities.
“We left our kitties in Ashlynn’s care with much less notice or instruction that I would have normally wanted — and a historic rain storm even blew in! But she wonderful job making sure the kitties were cared for and cuddled for more than a week. She even cleaned cat barf off a comforter. We really appreciate her exceptional dependability & kindness!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Webberville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
