“Madison was great with our girl Koda! Very responsive, gave good updates, and was very helpful. Koda was in great spirits when we came back. Definitely will be rebooking & would highly recommend her care for your pup!!”

“This was our first time using Virginia to watch our 3 cats. We appreciate her willingness to stop by for a meet and greet before booking. We have two kitties on meds and one who is very shy, so it was important to us to meet her and have her meet the cats beforehand. In watching our cats, she was communicative, provided pics and took the time to play with them. We're glad to have found her!”

“Gabe did an amazing job with our first babies! He was patient, caring, attentive, punctual, and communicative. The confidence they made me feel in my decision to use this service was vital in my trip planning process. I will highly recommend Gabe as a caretaker to my friends and family…… and also hope to get the privilege of using Gabe in the future.”

About: I know how important it is to have help taking care of our furry friends. From potty breaks or just playing with them. I am able to do drop ins and make sure they are doing well and have food and water. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, I have 3 of my own. I also have experience with puppies, reactive and shy pups. Although I do not have cats of my own I have taken care of them and know they still need love and attention. I know communication is important and can and will send pictures and updates. I currently work M-F from 7a to 3/4. So I have time for drop ins and walks in the afternoon and evening as well all day on the weekends. As a pet owner I know how important it is for someone to be reliable and show up for a furry loved ones. I know how pictures can bring peace of mind
“Emilee was outstanding and our dogs loved spending time with her. She kept us up to date on what was happening with them with updates and photos. Even helped them get us a card congratulating us on our wedding!! Emilee is highly recommended, I would definitely book with her again!! Thank you!!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m incredibly impressed with Abby as a sitter! From the very first visit, she made sure my dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. The updates were top-notch every time, with the cutest photos and thoughtful notes that gave me total peace of mind. My dog absolutely lights up when Abby arrives, which says everything. She clearly cares so much and is amazing with pets of all personalities. Communication is quick and smooth, scheduling is easy, and she is always reliable and professional. If you’re looking for someone kind, trustworthy, and truly dedicated to caring for your fur babies, Abby is the perfect choice. Your pet will be in the best hands! 🐾❤️”

“Joshua has been a truly champion these days we've been out of town, always very kind and willing to help with anything needed in our absence. I'd surely try to ask for his help in the future, and I'd like to recommend him without doubt.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was young. Friends, neighbors, and family trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets. I’m patient, gentle, and treat every pet like my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I already plan my days around feeding, walking, and checking on animals. I make time in the morning, afternoon, and evening for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and updates for owners. I stay organized so every pet gets attention and care throughout the day. In my home, I make sure pets have a clean space, fresh water, regular meals, and lots of attention. I follow the owner’s rules for feeding schedules, crate time, or training. In a client’s home, I keep their pet in their normal routine. I walk them, give them food and water, play with them, and send updates so owners know their pet is safe and happy.

About: Hi! I love meeting new animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Every pet is different, and I enjoy learning what makes each one feel comfortable, happy, and safe. For the past three years I’ve been actively working on training my own dog, which has helped me learn a lot about patience, communication, and understanding animal behavior. That experience has made me even more passionate about caring for animals and helping them feel supported in new environments. I love helping animals and figuring out what works best for them—whether that’s playtime, a relaxing walk, or just a calm place to rest. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends and can accommodate regular walks, drop-ins, or sitting. I always aim to follow your pet’s normal routine and provide updates during visits. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I take time to understand each animal’s routine and personality so they feel secure and relaxed. I use safe handling practices, supervise pets closely, and maintain a calm environment. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: Growing up i’ve always loved dogs and cats. i have a special place in my heart for animals. i used to take care of neighbors pets and family pets, which included training, bathing, walks and of course lots of quality time! I work a 9-5 during the weekdays but will still offer lots of love and attention to pets during my hour long lunch period and more on the weekends :) I always respect everyone’s requests when it comes to caring about their furry friend. as a pet parent myself i understand the importance of having your way of caring for your fur baby!
About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a former veterinary technician with six years of experience in equine medicine, I have cared for a wide variety of animals in both professional and personal settings. I have lifelong experience owning and handling hunting dogs, giant breeds, cats, horses, and other farm animals. My background includes administering medications, monitoring animals with special needs, caring for senior pets, and safely and confidently handling horses. I also have experience managing multi-pet households and navigating behavioral challenges, including in-home dog-to-dog aggression, with a focus on safety, prevention, and stress reduction for all animals involved. My schedule is very flexible, and I typically offer drop-in visits in the morning and evening, with each visit lasting about 45 minutes to an hour. If your pet needs additional time, extra potty breaks, medication visits, or a more customized care schedule, I'm happy to work with you to find a routine that fits their needs. A quick note on pricing: my standard overnight house-sitting rate starts at $80 per night for dogs and $50 per night for cats. That said, I understand that many families have multiple pets, and costs can add up quickly. Unless you have a very large number of animals or pets requiring intensive medical care or specialized attention, I typically cap my overnight rates at around $100–$150 per night. If you have multiple pets, horses, farm animals, or a unique care situation, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to discuss your specific needs and create a customized rate that is fair for everyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
