“Abigail B. is a WONDERFUL pet sitter! Our dog loved her (and he barks at everybody). She came at the agreed times, and did more than we asked of her. I would definitely recommend Abigail B!”

“Madison was great with our girl Koda! Very responsive, gave good updates, and was very helpful. Koda was in great spirits when we came back. Definitely will be rebooking & would highly recommend her care for your pup!!”

“Anabel was wonderful with my dog. She arrived on time for the entire booking, sent lots of photos and updates, and was very patient since he can be nervous. She knew a short walk would help him settle, so she even took him for a quick loop around the block. I felt completely at ease and will book Anabel again.”

“Joshua has been a truly champion these days we've been out of town, always very kind and willing to help with anything needed in our absence. I'd surely try to ask for his help in the future, and I'd like to recommend him without doubt.”

“Gracie was so great. I was nervous about how my pup would interact with someone new but she was able to do a meet and greet first. She was so patient with him and I will be booking her again in the near future.”

“Renada is great! She’s thorough, communicative, and conscientious about our pup. We feel our puppy is safe in her hands and are very grateful for her help. Would book again!”

“I requested Virginia last minute for a holiday booking and she absolutely came through for me (and Sage). There is nobody I would trust more to look after my girl. Thank you for all the help and the dependability.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs for family and friends in the Austin area for overnight trips, emergency trips, and day to day care. I follow instructions well and love to spend time with all animals, especially dogs. I take care of my two cats at home daily and occasionally take care of other pets for friends and family. I have a part time job so my schedule is flexible. I check their essentials every day (water, food, etc.) and spend time with them to make sure they’re active and happy. Any other needs I happily take care of with instructions given to suit the needs of your pet and home!
“Dee Dee is so professional and kind. She helped us out when we had to go to Houston on very short notice. This is our first time working with her and we are thrilled to have found her. Plus our dogs love her!”
“Audrey was very attentive to Jake’s needs & made us feel very comfortable and at ease with leaving Jake at home over the weekend. In-home visits twice per day are a much better option than boarding for our senior cat. Thank you so much, Audrey.”

“Vesna came by for a last minute emergency drop in! She was so quick to respond and came by within 15 minutes. She’s always a fantastic dog walker and I know I can always count on her!! 10/10!!!!”

“Michelle did a wonderful job caring for our two cats while we were out of town. She was quick to set up an in-person meet and greet. She was reliable and sent us updates and photos, and helped check in on the house. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Jackeline was so great. She took amazing care of our sweet pup, had clear communication, and even changed her schedule to fit in an extra unplanned visit. I would definitely hire her again to take care our our pup.”

“Ana is the best! She’s been visiting daily for three weeks now, and we did 1 overnight. It’s obvious my pup adores her. They play, go on walks, even helps teach some commands! Highest recommendation!”
About: I grew up in a home full of animals and continue that life today with two cats and two dogs in the Manor area. My dogs absolutely love having friends over and are used to new pups visiting weekly. They’re friendly, social, and do great with both large and small dogs. My cats are comfortable around dogs and have safe spaces if they prefer privacy. When your pet stays with us, they’re treated like one of our own, with full roaming privileges throughout our home unless you prefer otherwise. As a very hands-on sitter, I provide lots of love, attention, and frequent updates with photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I work in corporate HR and have flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week. I have flexibility for mid-day visits, walks, etc as needed. Outside of typical working hours, I am generally available at night and throughout weekends as well as I am local and know the downtown area well. Additionally, my partner works 100% remotely and will be available for the care of your pet. We treat all animals in our care as if they’re our own. We believe in allowing them to roam, sit on our sofas, sleep in our room, and play in the backyard as our other animals do. If your pet requires special accommodations/restrictions, we have a second floor that can be gated off for their privacy. We also have spare crates if your pet requires crating.
The median cost per visit for cat sitting in Manor is $22
Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Manor
Emilee was great with the kitties! She kept me updated on how they were doing, which is great as a pet owner leaving your pets alone. I asked her pretty last minute for this service and she was very nice to fit into her birthday weekend! 🥹 Thank you so much!!

Kelsey watched our cat for a week while we were out of town. She was always on time, took great photos and took excellent care of “our boy.” An issue came up with our garage door opening on its own, and Kelsey quickly got in touch with us and manually closed the door. And she made sure our house was secure. She made us feel completely secure knowing our house and our cat were being taken care of. We would definitely use Kelsey’s services again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Manor. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
