Safety, trust & environment

I like to keep a clean house and keep the house between 72F-75F°at all times. There is a doggy gate in the house to prevent any runners and reinforced backyard fence to prevent any smaller pups from slipping through. I also stay outside and supervise the pups during backyard time. Several key practices I take to ensure the pets' safety, comfort, and well-being: - Follow Detailed Instructions: Understand and adhere to the specific instructions provided by the pet owner. This includes feeding schedules, medication administration, specific care routines, and emergency contacts. - Maintain Regular Communication: Keep open lines of communication with the pet owner. Regular updates via text, photos, or videos can provide reassurance and keep the owner informed about their pet's well-being. - Provide a Safe and Clean Environment: Ensure the environment is pet-proofed, removing any potential hazards and securing the home to prevent escapes or accidents. Including counter-surfers. - Stick to Routine: Maintain the pet's usual routine as closely as possible. Consistency in feeding, walking, playtime, and bedtime helps reduce stress for the pet. - Exercise and Playtime: Engage the pets in their favorite activities, such as walks, playtime, or toys, to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. - Monitor Health and Behavior: Watch for any changes in the pet's behavior, eating habits, or health. Any concerns should be promptly communicated to the pet owner. - Respect the Pet's Comfort: Provide a comfortable and calming environment. Ensure they have access to their favorite spots, bedding, and, if applicable, a comfortable temperature in the house. - Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared for any emergencies. Have contact information for the owner, the vet, and clear instructions on what to do in case of an emergency. - Respect the Home: Respect the client's home by maintaining cleanliness and order. Follow any house rules set by the owner. - Security Measures: Ensure the security of the home and pets. Lock all doors and gates, and be cautious when entering and exiting the property. By implementing these practices, I'll provide excellent care for the pets while their owners are away, offering peace of mind and assurance to both the pet and their human family.

Pet care experience

I grew up with all kinds of animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, chickens, hedgehog). To ensure I can provide the best care possible, I currently only take in pets from one family at a time for boarding. I treat all fur-babies as if they are my own and send daily updates along with a lot of pictures from the day. I will try my best to accommodate your schedule and situation to the best of my ability. I take the trust of my clients very seriously and would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby while you are gone!
