I will be starting a part-time job on June 7th, but for now since I’m currently not working, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting—perfect for pets who do best staying in their own home and routine. My Boo Boo is getting old and I have Jerry who still is full of energy. While Stella has spurts of energy some days and other days she'd rather just snuggle. I am very cognoscente of what's around me when walking dogs. I am comfortable crating your baby and sleeping with them if needed & medicine.

About: Hi there! I have experience house/pet sitting for my colleagues and feel Rover is perfect for me to get to love and care for pets as I no longer have any of my own. I had a Dachshund for 17 years and have an extra soft spot for senior pets. I’ve also fostered in the past! Because I work remotely full time, I’m able to be at your home full time to give pets more companionship, supervision, potty breaks, medications, and consistency throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also understand how important trust and communication are while you’re away so I love sending photo and video updates if owners enjoy them. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions. I treat every home respectfully and every pet with the same care, patience, and affection I would want for my own.

With a lifelong passion for animal care, I have cared for many foster and rescue dogs, including my 10-year-old terrier mix, the Dude, whom I adopted at age 1, and my 16-year-old min pin, GIR, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023. My dedication to animals drives me to provide reliable and loving care for your pets. Throughout my adult life, I've had the pleasure of caring for many rescue and foster dogs, a snake, a rat, a hamster, and 5 ferrets. I've volunteered at my local animal shelter, socializing dogs and working with adoption outreach programs. I worked as a kennel tech at West Alabama Animal Clinic in Houston, caring for boarded dogs and cats. I worked to keep the animals safe and in a clean environment while also helping the vet techs with sick animals. I've volunteered at the Austin Wildlife Center, caring for small mammals like opossums and squirrels, as well as injured birds that came through the intake center. Needless to say, I love animals. And I'll show that much care and more with your pups when they're in my care. I'm currently working 32 hours per week, but I'm available 6 am - 9 am and after 6 pm Tuesday - Friday. I have flexible hours Saturday-Monday to spend more time with your pups! I have a fully fenced yard and one small friendly dog to hang out with your pups, if that's allowed. If not, I also have a large soft crate to keep them separated.

But Matthew was a total pro and super nice guy! He took such great care of our two pugs and our home. He was very communicative, quick to respond, and super tidy. If I’m needed more frequently, all I’d ask is to be allowed to work from your location. Otherwise, I’m on a 9-5 work schedule and can be available for one hour, typically between 11am and 1pm, and every evening. Pet care fits smoothly into my daily and weekly routine. I am available after 3:30 pm daily, which allows me to reliably focus on feeding times, walks, okay sessions, and quality one-on-one care in the afternoons and evenings.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 10 years. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe (depending on their size), play with their fur babies. I have a relaxed environment for and am working from home so I have lots of time to take care of your pets. I'm available for boarding on weekends. I live in a house with a fenced deck and have pet friendly neighbors. I will make sure your fur baby is comfortable and that they always have food, water, snacks and favorite toys. I can also take your pet to the fenced private dog area in my neighborhood.

About: I love dogs! I used to travel on holidays and would always hate having to leave Thor, (my beautiful dog) behind but I always felt comfort knowing he would be staying with someone that equally loved dogs and would care for him just like I do while I am gone. This exactly what I can promise you. Your dog will be loved, played with, and care for while he/she is with me. I often take Thor on hikes, the dog park, and walks. I play tug-a-war with him and fetch. I try to do at least 15 minutes of training/tricks with him everyday. I have a two-story home with a medium size, fenced back yard that Thor loves to lay outside in. I have a doggy door so the dogs will always have access to the backyard. At my house, your dog will be treated like family. That way you can hopefully enjoy your trip knowing that your dog is being cared for.
