Pet care experience

TX Native, Animal Lover, ATX Vibes

Proud cat mom and lifelong dog girl living and vibing in Austin 🐾 Please Note: I will be out of town July 23 - July 26. I grew up in West Texas on what was basically a mini farm—six dogs (five dachshunds!), plus cats, chickens, fish, and even peacocks. My first “job” was pet sitting for neighbors, so caring for animals has been part of my life from day one. Summers were spent at Prude Ranch, a cattle and horse ranch, and I even volunteered feeding animals at the local museum. These days, I’m a homeowner, a commercial real estate agent, and cat mom to my orange tabby, Guerilla (aka “the little baby” 😸). I’ve also fostered cats through Austin Pets Alive and cared for both cats and dogs with special needs. I love their completely different personalities — the best of both worlds. My line of work in real estate keeps me working remotely most of the time, giving me some flexibility in my schedule. Since I do have a full-time job, I only do about 3-4 drop-ins and/or walks per day. Some older reviews may mention my former roommate helping with pet care, but now it’s just me! I bring the same dependable, organized, and responsive energy I use in my career into caring for your pets. Whether your fur baby is a lap-loving napper or a backyard zoomie expert, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away ❤️🐶🐱

Schedule

I work for myself, so I make my own hours and can be flexible. I typically work from home so I’m able to stop by at anytime—whether that’s snuggles (or space, depending on their vibe), playtime, walks, or meals. Your fur baby will always have someone reliable looking out for them.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medical routines, or is a senior who needs a gentler pace. The more details you share, the better! Personality quirks are especially helpful—does your cat prefer not to be picked up? Is your pup nervous around other dogs? For example, my cat Guerilla hates head scratches. Feeding routines, favorite toys, hiding spots, allergies, social habits—no detail is too small. I’m here to make their stay or visit stress-free for everyone (including you!).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
