He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free. “My cats liked Jeffrey more than me. During the meet and greet all of my cats came out to see who he was and two of them went up to say hi. During Jeffrey’s visits, he administered medicine to my diabetic kitty, played with them, fed them and scooped their litter boxes. Sometimes when my cats miss me, they’ll only sleep on the couch or under the bed, but every time I checked my ring camera, they were sleeping on top of my bed, which means they were content and happy, even though I was gone. Jeffrey was very professional and kind to us.”

I am fully remote and working on European time zones. My husband works in office and I just love the company! About: I have cared for dogs all of my life. As a child, we bred Labrador puppies. We were taught to raise them from the beginning with love, care, and discipline. I just graduated with my masters at UT Austin so I currently have a very open schedule! I drive and would be happy to come by whenever you need. I think that it’s really important for your pet to have the care that you think is best. Whatever your routine or situation I’m happy to accommodate to keep your pet on schedule. For example, I am very particular about how I take care of my own cat in my home. He has an automatic feeder and a water fountain so that he is always fed on time and has enough water throughout the day. Each night I play fetch with him for at least 15 minutes to get his energy out before bed. At night time he sleeps next to me the whole time. This is what works for us but everyone’s situation looks different. If you give me a step by step of how your pet likes to be cared for I can assure you I will do exactly that :)
About: I've been caring for pets since I was eight years old and my family adopted its first dog. Beyond the typical duties of walking, feeding, playing, and training I've performed for my personal pets, I also began walking dogs at shelters when I was in middle school, and continued to throughout college. Since graduating college a year ago, I've been hired to walk and take care of multiple dogs in my neighborhood, which I've done so joyfully. I am also a member of Trusted Housesitters, and have travelled around the country to visit new places while caring for pets. I have a variety of experience and am the biggest dog lover you'll probably ever meet! I currently work virtually, so am incredibly flexible and able to accommodate a variety of situations during my workday. This means I can work on both workdays and weekends. Furthermore, I am generally very flexible and have lots of free time, so chances are I'll be able to make something work! I will care for my client's pet in their home with care and love. I try to walk dogs I care for at least 3 times a day for at least 15-20 minutes - more if the dog is very active. I also make sure to fill the water bowl and feed the pups on time. I will also go outside to the backyard (if present) and play with the dog there. Because I work from home, I am extremely flexible and able to give dogs more attention than they might get at a kennel or other situation. Overall, I am extremely conscientious, and what's more, I am a genuine dog lover and am attuned to their needs. I will care for your dog with the utmost attention and love.

He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free. Marissa walked him multiple times a day, let him sleep in her room, took him out to dog friendly, public locations every day. took him to the beach, a friend's house, etc. He was excited to see us when we got home, but we could tell he also really liked them and kept going between Marissa's family and us for rounds of petting.
