Loving Care for your Pampered Pets
Hi pet owners. I am Shannan, a teacher by profession who loves animals like they were people. I have gone back to the classroom this year so my dog sitting/boarding/daycare starts on Friday at 4pm when I am out of school thru Sunday evening as late as needed. I have a nice clean home and large fenced backyard for babysitting your babies. I have personally owned Chihuahuas, Dobermans, a Brittany Spaniel, and a Great Dane. I love them at all sizes. I have also had 2 Calicos. I have raised birds, hamsters and Iguanas. I am mostly a dog lover but will care for cats at your home. I have raised a diabetic and elderly pet, administering shots and meds. I have experience with dogs that have severe anxiety and know how to help them through that. I would love to care for your pets while you are away while offering them a safe loving environment. I have a secure fenced in back yard to play in with lots of trees , birds and squirrels to watch. I will keep your pet indoors in the cool AC unless they need to go outside for a break. I look forward to meeting your pet and getting to know your family.

Shannan took great care of Ginger for 5days. Through the multiple pictures, we received, I can tell that Ginger felt right at home. Ginger has special needs as she is a senior dog and Shannan was very thoughtful about it through out the stay. We are very happy to find a new and safe boarding home for Ginger. Already planned a second boarding trip here and thank you Shannan for showing all the care and love towards Ginger. We truly appreciate it.

We are so very pleased with the service that Shannan provided for our family dog, Roxy. We recently took an international trip to Peru. Unfortunately, life happened and Roxy fell ill just days before the trip. Needless to say, we were in tears with the thought that Roxy might not make it while we were away on a trip that could not be cancelled. We got Roxy medical care and Shannan took over from there to ensure Roxy was well taken care of and on the mend. Shannan went out of her way to set us at ease with communication, photos. In a few days, Roxy was better. We 100% recommend Shannan for care of your dear family pet.

Schedule
I am a teacher so during the school year, I am available to sit or board on the weekends and teacher holidays. I house sit, board and drop in for dogs and cats full time during the summer.

Safety, trust & environment
I let dogs stay inside my home and on the furniture if they want. I let them outside as often as they want. My fence is secure and has padlocks on each gate door. I use a double door system for entry and exit of the house through the pantry and garage door instead of using the front door to ensure no dogs get out of the house.
Pets
A typical day
I love to make dogs happy. I like taking them on walks down my street which is a perfect length for a walk which dead ends into a cul-de-sac. I have a dog run where I love to throw tennis balls to dogs who love to retrieve. Having a large bowl of ice water afterwards is always fun! If they stay for an extended time they will get a bath because they usually end up in the bed and they have to smell good for snuggling. I have a teen daughter who loves to snuggle with pups and let them sleep with her at night if they want.
