Hi, I’m Alex, and I’d love to help you take care of your pet. I own three dogs, a chihuahua mix, a GSD mix, and an Australian shepherd, and am a lifelong dog lover. While I am new to the dog walking and pet sitting space, I have experience with my own pets and with my friends’ and family members. I also have experience in pet obedience and several dog sports. I am working towards becoming a professional dog trainer, and I would love experience handling different types of dogs besides my own. I plan on taking your dog on fulfilling long walks, either in the neighborhood or out in nature, where your pet has the opportunity to burn energy and decompress. I’m happy to send updates, photos, and videos on our adventures together. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I will be walking your dog in your neighborhood or at a nearby park or nature area. For safety reasons I may walk your dog on a slip leash until we get to know each other better and can switch to their normal gear, but please express any questions or concerns if you have any. I have treats I can use during the walks, but if your dog is on a special diet I will need your dogs food allowance or their preferred treats. If they are toy motivated I can also bring along their favorite toy if needed as well to play with on our outing. Let me know your dog’s personality and preferences and I can adjust walks accordingly!

Alex is absolutely INCREDIBLE. She is so patient and understanding. My dog Ziva is a little more than a handful. She’s anxious with strangers especially when they come into our house. Alex didn’t miss a beat and allowed Ziva to warm up and practiced some obedience drills to warm up my girl a little bit. Not to mention she had two other dogs screaming at her, too. She not only walked, but enriched my dog. Ziva came home fulfilled and tired, ready to have good behavior for the rest of the day. If you have a nervous or slightly reactive dog, and are unsure about hiring someone to help you manage them, I HIGHLY recommend Alex to you.
Alex was wonderful. She’s not only in it for the walks, she also worked with my dog, Rain as well while I was away on vacation. I knew Rain was getting not only some exercise, but real enrichment. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
Alex has been amazing with Finn! This is the second time she’s walked him, and both times he’s absolutely loved it. It really helps stimulate him, and I can tell he genuinely enjoys his time with her. You can tell she truly loves dogs, she’s patient, attentive, and caring. I especially appreciate that Finn is getting more comfortable around people other than me, and with Alex he feels safe, happy, and is even learning along the way. Since she’s looking to gain more experience with training, it feels like a perfect match because Finn loves learning new tricks, playing, and exploring, definitely a win-win. I highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker!

I met Alexandria through her participation in dog sports with one of her dogs. She is an incredibly dedicated dog owner. I've been very impressed with her work with her dog on things like basic obedience and a variety of dog sports. She takes wonderful care of both of her dogs, feeds them nothing but the best food and makes sure they have all the little luxuries they deserve, all while making sure they have excellent manners. She is very active with her dogs and regularly takes them for long walks and hikes. I would totally trust her to care for any of my dogs and would highly recommend her as a Rover dog walker and drop-in pet caretaker.
I highly recommend Alex for Rover. She helped me train my very sassy, funny, and incredibly stubborn boxer — which was no small task! She was patient, knowledgeable, and consistent, and made a huge difference in our training progress. She has also walked several of my dogs over the years and has always been reliable, communicative, and genuinely compassionate. I’ve always felt completely confident leaving my dogs in her care. Any pet would be lucky to have her.

Schedule
I am a full-time mom with three dogs. I plan on spending time with your pet when my baby goes down for his nap, so I will be available between 11am-2pm most weekdays.
