Pet care experience
Big world. Bigger heart.
I own a puppy and I've been taking care of him for years and I want to help take care of other pups as well. I want everyone to feel like they have a trustworthy and responsible sitter and I've had nothing but good experiences with pups and jobs in the past! I love spending time with animals and believe that they should be getting the care that they deserve. I have little experience but hope to gain more as I continue with Rover. I've had to pet sit and walk a few times throughout high school but I want to grow in this community and I know that Rover will help me accomplish that! I have a special place for pups and nothing can replace that.

Emma did a great job keeping my pups safe and happy!

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed by our experience with Emma. While communication seemed great (one photo a day), when we got home our kitten had large matts in his hair, and lots of poop stuck in his fur. It saddens me as it certainly took many days to get into that condition. We had to groom him immediately once we got home as he was truly disgusting and dirty. His food bowl, which I told her to keep full, was completely empty upon arrival. Emmas hair was all over the shower wall, which was an unwelcome sight after hours of travel. We will not be using Emmas services again.

Emma was wonderful to work with and have as a caretaker for my pups! She had very thorough communication and appreciated her detailed check ins. She even helped with a house task and came back to everything being clean and in order. My pups seemed to love and trust her and I will definitely be using her again in the future!!

Unfortunately, our experience with Emma did not meet our expectations for a house-sitting booking. While she did stay overnight, her time at our home during the day was very inconsistent—often leaving for 3–4 hours, returning for about an hour, and then leaving again for several hours. This felt much closer to drop-in care than house sitting. Emma mentioned taking our dogs on walks, but our front door camera never showed the dogs leaving the house. Communication initially seemed strong, but the times she reported being at our home often did not match what our security system recorded. When we arrived home, our pets had very minimal water available, which was concerning. Emma did clean our cat’s litter box before we returned, which we appreciated. However, there was also food trash left in the bedroom she stayed in and leftovers left in our fridge. We booked based on her many positive reviews and had high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that.

Thank you for your hard work Emma. Removing a dead squirrel from the property was not part of your duties so thank you again. Wanda

Emma is the best!!!! She helped us out so much with a last minute booking and is so good with our pup! You will not be disappointed if you hire her! Great communication always!

Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer boarding services. However, I was a pet sitter for 1.5 years going to other people’s homes and either performing 30-minute to 1-hour dog walks/playtime. Plus have experience house sitting with dogs, cats, and ferrets. I ensure the pets have a safe and clean space and ensure to communicate and send photos when I arrive, and provide a clear update and photos when leaving.

A typical day
We will go on walks to the neighborhood park across the street and to other dog parks to help them socialize if necessary. I have so many dog toys and I have a pool as well. I dont have a doggy door but I have a bell on my door for the puppies to ring when they need to be let out.
