Highlights
Pet care experience
Love for your baby! BILINGÜE :)
Our pets are our family. You can rest easy knowing that your loved one(s) are in good care. I am a licensed social worker with specialty in youth, so I naturally bring patience, empathy and playfulness to the dogs I care for. I have been dogsitting and walking for neighbors since middle school, and became a dog mom 15 years ago. Currently empty nesting, so your baby will get all my love! Experienced with multiple ages and breeds. Safe and happy dogs in my care have been reactive (leash, fence, other dogs), gentle, playful and aging, some needing special care.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
While caring for your loved ones, the following standards will be included (additions or changes can be discussed as needed): -- Housesitting: *Walking rules below apply. *All subject to owner's recommendation Staying in their own home can be a big anxiety-reliever for your pet. They will already be missing you dearly, and consistency is often super helpful to be more at ease. On that note, I will make every effort to keep all structure, rules, and expectations that normally apply at home. For example, I love dogs on the couch and in the bed with me, but if you prefer them to stay on the ground, they will be expected to do so in my care. I provide any food/drink that I'll need during my stay, so unless explicit permission is given, you will find no nibbles out of your cabinets. -- Walks from your home: - Use all gear provided and as recommended by owner (type/length of leash, use of harness, clicker training, etc.) - Lock doors behind me during walks and when I leave. - Pictures upon request. - Miniature training treats to encourage bonding, attentiveness and good behaviors. - Encourage walking at my pace without pulling. - Maintain a safe distance from others on the street, asking whether other dogs are friendly and allowing greetings as recommended by owner (eg. Stay 10 feet away from all humans and dogs; Greet only when both dogs are off leash; etc.) - Option for playtime in yard or in house, extra ear/tummy scratches <3 (for housesitting, this is obviously included!) If you have any questions, comments, or changes, PLEASE let me know! I do my best to provide a friendly and familiar environment for your dog. Communication is key :)
