Experienced pet sitter and foster!
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 years old. I grew up with two dogs from puppyhood and I have fostered young puppies through APA in Austin. During college, I volunteered at the local animal shelter as an off-site handler and took dogs for walks and hikes around the city as well as overnight stays at my home. Currently, I have two fur babies of my own: a rambunctious Australian Shepherd and a sweet calico cat. I have experience with dogs hyperactivity, pulling, minor medical needs and with young puppies. I absolutely love all animals and would love to meet your pet!

Kaitlyn was amazing!! She went above and beyond - she even came for a meet and a greet with our kitties before we went out of town. Our extremely shy and skittish cats even warmed up to her, and I think that speaks to what kind of person she is. She also kept us super updated with lots of pictures while we were away!

Kaitlyn was so patient with our sweet, timid dog and communicated very well with me! She sent lots of pictures as well! He warmed up to her by the end of the visit! She also refilled his water bowl for us!
Kaitlyn was great at communicating and coordinating visits to check on my cat. She always responded promptly and was incredibly amenable to any requests we had. I was so grateful for the detailed messages about each visit and the photos she took. Exceptional job overall!
Kaitlyn was amazing! Sent me many pictures of my baby while I was gone, kept him entertained. The plus side is that my fur baby loved her and he does not like meeting new people ❤️

Schedule
I’m an Elementary school teacher so my availability during the school year is: - Weekend Sittings (I prefer not to do overnight stays since I have my own pets to care for, but will provide multiple check-in’s throughout each day, usually around 30-45 minutes each check-in, but it times/ amount depend on the needs of your pet) - Open to weekday sittings but can only do check-in's from 6/6:15- 6:30/45 am, 3:30- 4 pm and anytime in the evening! - Drop-in's or walks anytime on the weekends or or anytime after 4 pm on weekdays - Boarding at my house for pets who get along with other dogs. My cat is afraid of other dogs, so I usually keep her separate with a gate during sittings so she has her own space.

I know how important is it to have peace of mind with the care of your pet so I provide on-time care, updates and pictures/ videos. And of course, plenty of attention for your fur baby! Let me know what your pet needs and I'm happy to accomodate.
Pets
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks and I also love hiking (when it's not incredibly hot outside) so I'm always up for an adventure! I'm also happy to relax on the couch or play fetch with dogs in their yard.
