About: I’m a reliable dog sitter who provides in-home sitting and walking services, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, walks tailored to your dog’s needs, and photo updates so you can relax. I have years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—family pets, friends’ dogs, and neighborhood pups—always prioritizing safety, consistency, and plenty of positive attention. I’m available part-time with flexible hours and work from home, so I can offer consistent, quality time with your dog rather than rushed visits. My goal is simple: keep your dog happy, comfortable, and well-cared-for so you have complete peace of mind. I have lots of free time so I can walk dogs and sit them a lot. Almost always available in the morning and early afternoon. I have a very soft touch with the dogs. I’m in tune to their personalities and how to get along with them. Should any issue arise with the dog? I will be sure to notify the owner immediately.
“Jordan went above and beyond to make our cats and parrots comfortable. It was such a relief to know someone was looking in on them and giving them some attention while we were gone!”

About: I grew up with Rotties, Pit-Bulls, German Shepards, cats, and ferrets, and I've loved every second of it!! I have pet sit with dogs, cats, and chickens, and I will always do my absolute best to meet every pet's needs and requirements. I'm currently a student with a majority online class-load, so I will be very available and flexible to meet your pet care needs, whatever they may be. I can commute several times a day or stay the whole time to care for your pets, whatever your preferences and your pets needs. My pet care is limited to your home and your supplies. I do not take any pets back to my home for my and your own peace of mind.

“Amiah was very friendly, communicated with me during each visit, and took wonderful care of my dog! She sent pictures, played with him, and gave him his medication at the requested times! My dog got a small cut prior to Amiah taking care of him and she ensured that it stayed clean while we were gone. I highly recommend Amiah and will definitely be asking her to care for my dog in the future.”
“I appreciate the help I have received since July 2025 with the drop ins for my fur babies to go potty. With out Tinisha's acceptance I would not have been able to start my new job. Lots of hugs and thank you!”

About: I’ve owned pets since I was a kid and was responsible for walking, feeding and engaging with my pets. Now I see my pets as my babies. I work from home and will have plenty of time to spend with your pet. We have dance parties and race on my breaks. I like to create a fun and comfortable environment to help them get through the time of separation. I have a large fenced in back yard, great to let dogs run and play. I separate and crate my dogs when they eat. My dogs are very playful and if necessary I can create them depending on behavior. I grew up with pets dogs/cats and I treat my current 3 dogs like my babies. I understand how much I love them and will show the same amount of care for your pets.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid but have been a dog owner for over 15 years. I understand that all pets have their own needs and behaviors and I have dedicated myself to caring for others pets the same way as my own: with patience, understanding, love and lots of belly rubs and pets. I would love to help you and care for your pet(s)! Let’s chat about your pet(s) needs and what makes their tail wag! 😊 I work from home every day so that way your pups will not be alone and they will have plenty of attention, play time and care! I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood. My neighborhood is safe for walks, we even have walking trails and our own neighborhood dog park!
About: where do i even begin. so much sets me apart from other sitters it’d be impossible to list them all here. just imagine the best sitter ever and that’s me i’m a teacher so i’m pretty open during the summer. during the school year could work, too, depending on what’s needed and the specific dates i probably don’t do anything differently than another sitter. i do like to talk to them a lot. like constantly. most pets seem to like that
“Kaleigh is always amazing! Even with last-minute requests, she never hesitates to step in and take great care of my babies. I trust her completely and truly appreciate how reliable and loving she is. Highly recommend!”

“Julian was amazing with our two cats! He showed up everyday on time and left detailed descriptions of what he and the cats got up to! We looked forward to the fun pictures and videos he would send at the end of each visit. We know our cats were in great hands while we were away and we will be booking with him again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of many dogs for family and friends in the Austin area for overnight trips, emergency trips, and day to day care. I follow instructions well and love to spend time with all animals, especially dogs. I take care of my two cats at home daily and occasionally take care of other pets for friends and family. I have a part time job so my schedule is flexible. I check their essentials every day (water, food, etc.) and spend time with them to make sure they’re active and happy. Any other needs I happily take care of with instructions given to suit the needs of your pet and home!
“Lauren was great with our dogs. We have 5 and there are some certain things that have to be followed with them. She was great at receiving and following through with the instructions left. My very shy and anxious dog immediately took to her.”

I'm extremely reliable, have a flexible schedule, and love caring for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will care for them well while you're away. About: I became a dog parent two years ago and have learned so much about dogs! I’m ready to open my home to more furry friends. I have a big fenced yard where my own furry baby Siri loves to run around and play with. Inside my home, my Siri and furry friend are allowed to roam free but can easily accommodate for crate trained pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Elgin with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
