Have owned dogs and cats all my life for some 40 years, walked dogs at the Austin Animal shelter 3 days a week until moving. This was definitely an eyeopener for me because of the the way that some people treat their pets is hard to describe when some of those pets came into the shelter in such bad health and physical pain. My pets have kept me going in good times and bad, I don't know what I would do without them. The world is a better place because of pets and they should be taken care of and not mistreated in anyway. I am a better person in all ways because of having and caring for pets for the majority of my life.
