1. Hope M.

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Hope! Booking last-minute was stressful, but she was so understanding and flexible with our schedule. Not only did she accommodate our late pick-up, but she also went above and beyond by sending us regular updates and adorable photos, which truly put our minds at ease. Her communication was exceptional, and it was clear that our dog was in the best hands. Whiskey came back happy and relaxed, and we couldn’t ask for more. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible dog sitter!”

2. Kristy T.

“Kristy has shown nothing but love to our boy. When our last rover sitter disappeared out of nowhere she stepped in and was up for the challenge for our reactive puppy. He’s been going there now for months and we haven’t heard of any issues. We’re so happy to have found Kristy. We know Marcel loves and trusts you and your family.”

6. Alexandra & Evelyn C.

About: Howdy! We’re Alex and Evelyn! We have a 7 year old sheepadoodle named Paisley 🐶 and a 3 year old lionhead bunny named Ziro 🐰! We love all animals and have grown up caring for dogs and have been taking care of our friends non dog animals including cats, tortoise etc (see pics!) We both work from home so we’ll be constantly watching your pup! We have a fenced in (locked) backyard and doggy door with plenty of grass for roaming under our supervision! Paisley 🐶 is a gentle giant who loves other dogs (young, senior, big, small) / animals! She has grown up around many small animals (rabbits/ cats) and does not chase them. Ziro 🐰has his own separate space and will not have any interactions with your pet. Happy to answer any questions you may have! We work from home full time and mainly stay at home except for a few hours throughout the weekend. If you’re comfortable with it, we can bring your pup with us to pet friendly areas (park) or to our neighborhood trail. We’ll make sure to keep your pup on their usual schedule. We have a two story house and a fenced in backyard that has a lock on the gate. We also have a doggy door the dogs can use— your dog will always be supervised when outside. In order to provide the best care and attention for your dog(s), there will never be more than 3 dogs (this includes our dog) during our watch! If we take dogs from different households, you will be notified! We like to keep a clean/ tidy house and make sure all food is put away to prevent any counter surfing.

10. Mia B.
About: Hi, My name is Mia. I have about ten years of experience working with animals from animal shelters to vet clinics. I have experience fostering over fifty pets, including bottle babies and pets with special needs. I currently work as a legal assistant. M-F 10:00-5:00. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BOOK WITH ENOUGH TIME FOR A MEET & GREET TO BE SCHEDULED PRIOR TO MY FIRST VISIT. This is for my safety and the safety of your pets. I am always open to negotiation, but please keep in mind this helps pay my bills. I do have my own dog, but if your dog needs to stay overnight in my home, they will be kept separate. I am very responsible and would love to meet you and your fur babies. If you have any questions, please ask me :) Can’t wait to meet you. I work 10-5, but I work from home. Visits before and after are easy when in Elgin or nearby. If I pet sit at home, I will keep separate from my pet. It depends on what is needed, per the pets needs. I am happy to stop by, clean up, let them out and feed during visits.

11. Evan D.
“Evan has taken care of our house and dog several times over the past few years. He is a kind, trustworthy young man and my dog loves him! I would absolutely recommend Evan, he will take great care of your pets!”

13. Keri C.
“Choosing Keri as your pet sitter is an absolute no-brainer! I've had the pleasure of watching her care for our own furry family members, and it's clear she has a truly special connection with animals. She's incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely devoted to their well-being, always going the extra mile to ensure they're happy, healthy, and showered with affection. Any pet would be lucky to have Keri looking after them – she's simply the best!”

14. Moises M.
About: With a 1-year-old husky and previous schnauzer, I'm well-versed in pet care. I adore walking, teaching tricks, and enjoying playful runs with my beloved dog, Snowy. As a college student with flexible summer schedules, I'm eager to spend quality time with dogs, offering attentive care and playful interactions with the dogs. I prioritize pet safety by always using leashes, bringing water on walks to prevent dehydration, and ensuring play areas are secure, minimizing the risk of dogs getting lost.

15. Adriana K.

“Leaving Joshua with Adriana readily put me at ease. Joshua is a sweet boy but we were worried how he would adjust, since he has dementia and familiar things are most comforting to him. He looked happy from the beginning, and I think he wanted to stay when I came to pick him up. I’m really happy to find some reliable help with taking care of him!”

16. Nallely T.
About: I grew up with pets and they’ve always been part of my life. I’ve had hamsters, mice, chickens, bunnies, ducks, birds, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and of course dogs and cats. I’m definitely a dog lover, and as an adult I have gained plenty of experience pet sitting and caring for dogs, specially small breeds. I cared for my older baby (Shih-Tzu) with medical needs for many years, and in the process learned a lot about dog care and how to tell when they aren’t feeling well or something is going on. I’ve cared for dogs of friends and family who have full confidence and trust that their babies will be loved, taken care of and even spoiled when they’re under my watch. I’m currently in the process of changing career paths, and have flexibility to do boarding, drop-in visits and house sitting on most weekends and potentially some week days. The house will be dog proofed. I’m aware of things dogs can eat that will make them sick or could be damaging for their health, so those foods/items will be unreachable for dogs. They will have a good sized backyard to go out for potty breaks and play. My community has very nice and safe walking trails for dogs that need walks. If/as requested dogs can be crated but they won’t be crated otherwise. I love cuddling with my dogs so I allow them on the bed and occasionally on living room furniture. They sleep on my bed unless requested to sleep in their own bed.

17. Christina W.
“I recently booked in-home dog sitting with Christina and had a fantastic experience. The booking process was easy, and she communicated promptly. Her property is well-maintained inside and out. Christina stayed in constant communication, providing updates and peace of mind. She treated my dogs like her own, which is all a dog mom could ask for. Highly recommended!”

18. Kerri A.

“Kerri was amazing and so attentive to my pup! She kept me updated all day. Would definitely book again!”

19. Amy W.

“Amy was so sweet and took great care of my baby Bessie! I was so nervous to leave her with a sitter because she goes to work with me every single day. Thank you, Amy!”
