About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for almost a decade in several countries across Europe and professionally in Austin. I like big mutts and I can not lie! After 5pm on Tuesday through Thursday and anytime rest of the week would work for me. No problems house sitting or your pup staying over. I have hands-on experience working at a dog daycare, as well as caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities through pet sitting and boarding. I’ll follow your dog’s usual feeding times, walk routes, and house rules, and I’ll leave everything just as tidy as I found it. I’ll ask for a quick rundown of your dog’s habits, favorite spots, and any quirks (I’m fluent in “the sofa is mine, actually”). On walks: Secure leash and harness every time, with no off-leash risks in unfenced areas Fresh water and waste bags always on hand Extra care in Texas heat: early or shaded routes, hot pavement checks, and plenty of water breaks Constant attention, because I’m there for your dog and not my phone Around the house: Doors and gates stay secure, and I double-check them every time (huskies taught me that escape artists exist) Hazards like food, cleaning products, and chewable items stay out of reach Meals and any medication given exactly as you instruct Trust and communication: I’m happy to do a meet-and-greet first so your dog and I can get acquainted. From a cuddly Himalayan and a yappy Yorkie to an energetic Doodle, a sleepy Rottweiler, and even a barrelling high-energy Mastiff, I love them all. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for a puppy with worms who had no bowel control. For three weeks, I made sure she always felt loved, clean, and happy while she recovered. No matter the challenge, I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same love I’d give my own. I am open Thursday evenings through Sundays. Monday through Thursday I am not available until after 5:15pm. If mornings during the week are needed they will have to be very early with further discussion. I am always happy to go on walks, runs, play fetch, or just give your pet as much or little attention as they desire. We can find a dog run or go on an adventure.
