About: My husband and I live in SoDo next to Lake Davis which has a wonderful walking path, wildlife and lots of neighbors walking their own dogs. We have two mini dachshunds named porter and Barley, and we love our fur children. We have a big, fenced-in backyard for zoomies. Barley is the co-founder of Dachshunds of Orlando meet up group every 1st Sat and 3rd Sun of the month at Lake Druid Dog Park. Find us on Facebook! Barley prefers to hang out with small dogs like himself but is good with all people and dogs. We would love to watch Dachshunds. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, so taking care of pets has always been second nature to me. We always had three cats and a dog at home, so I'm used to everything from daily walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and cleaning up the occasional mess. They went beyond what a boarding facility could offer and personally cared for my dog while she went through separation anxiety and missing her family. Sailor became the older sibling she needed and I received not only daily communication but updates and responses as I was going through my own separation issues from her. I couldn't have asked for a better home for my dog to be in while I was away. Their home is a perfect place for an active dog and they are the perfect family to care for an energetic dog especially one who needs support to come out of her shell while her family is away. I couldn't thank them enough for their care for my doggo.”
