âShe was absolutely amazing with my dog and went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while we were away. She was so patient with all of his needs, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. He didnât even want to leave when we picked him up and came home happily exhaustedâweâll definitely be booking with her again!â

âKristie was PHENOMENAL. Our gentle giant Orion was being a bit of a stage 5 clinger when I first dropped him off, but she had the confidence and skills to help turn his attitude around and provided a great daycare with multiple trips to the dog park. He said 5 paws, would book here again!!â
âLeda is amazing with my Toby. When I drop him off he rushes to the door to see her doesnât even look back to say Bye to his mommy . Itâs a great feeling when I drive away!â

âRachel was absolutely wonderful with Luna. I felt so good about leaving my deaf dog with her. She kept me updated throughout the day. I will definitely have Luna come back to see Rachel again!â

âOur pup, Petra, didn't end up staying with Marie, but it was no fault of Marie's. She wasn't feeling well, and though Marie tried her very best to coax her to stay with her, she clinged to us so badly, that we and Marie decided it was best for her not to make her stay and be so stressed out. We really appreciate the effort made by Marie!â

âToday was my girls first day spending with Ivanka and her 2 pups. It appears she had a great time playing! Thank you Ivanka for taking such good care of Willow đâ

âMaria was very friendly & accepted our mini Dachshund with open arms. Great communication when we had questions & provided several pictures of Luna. We appreciated the last minute accommodations at a very reasonable cost. Weâll definitely book again. :)â

âVeronica was super sweet, great communication and so accommodating. She took on a last minute booking. Veronica made Sadie a room to get acclimated with her environment, before she got acclimated with Veronica. She sent me updates w pictures. But most of all she provided safe environment w lots of love for Sadie.â

About: Iâve been around dogs my entire life and have personally cared for them for the past 8+ years. Iâve owned and cared for Bernese Mountain Dogs, Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, German Shepherds, and now my one-year-old Bernedoodle, Benji. Since I work remotely, your dog will receive plenty of attention throughout the day and wonât be left alone for more than about two hours during my weekday routine. Benji is very friendly and loves making new dog friends, so as long as your dog enjoys other dogs, theyâll have a great companion to play with. Our daily routine includes five walks, with one lasting an hour or more and the others ranging from 10â20 minutes. We also have a dog park within walking distance that we visit regularly for exercise and socialization when appropriate. Your dogâs safety and comfort are my priority. I feed dogs separately to make sure everyone eats comfortably and receives the correct portions, and Iâm experienced giving oral medications when needed. Iâll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout your dogâs stay, so youâll always know how theyâre doing. I work remotely full-time, so your dog will have company and supervision throughout the day. During weekdays, dogs are typically never left alone for more than about two hours while Iâm at the gym. Every day includes five walks, with one long walk of an hour or more, plus several shorter walks. Iâm primarily available for weekday boarding and daycare to provide a calm, consistent routine and plenty of attention. Weekends depend on my schedule. Your dogâs safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Since I work remotely, your dog will have plenty of supervision throughout the day and will rarely be left alone for more than two hours during my weekday routine. I have a friendly one-year-old Bernedoodle who loves making new friends, and I only accept friendly, vaccinated dogs to help ensure a safe environment for everyone. Dogs are always fed separately to make sure they eat comfortably and receive the correct portions. My apartment is clean, pet-friendly, and just a short walk from a nearby dog park, with five daily walks to keep everyone active.
âLesia is simply awesome, and she was just that with my fur babies. My Benson and Bella were comfortable with her. I appreciate her professional demeanor and her detailed reporting of all that took place during the stay at doggy day care. I look forward to working with Lesia again!â

âThis was our two pandemic pupsâ very first dog sitting experience and Sara was AMAZING! She eased our mind and was great with the dogs and details of care. :) she went above and beyond with photos, videos, and letting me know how it went. She has made me feel so much better about returning to the office even though I will miss my babies!! TYSMâ

âQueenita is so kind and caring. On very short notice she was able to watch my dogs the next day and did a wonderful job. I received pictures all day and am truly grateful for such a high level of care and love she gave my dogs! I donât think they wanted to leave when I came back and got them. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you so much!â

Cristal was excellent with Salsa. She must have a special dog talent, because the moment Salsa saw her she jumped to her arms, and that usually only happens with people she knows. She responded to my request instantly, and sent me pictures and videos throughout the day. When I picked her up, Salsa was in a great mood and tired.

Kristie was absolutely amazing! Her communication was impeccable from start to finish, and she kept me updated throughout the day with tons of photos and videos of Mia. It was so reassuring to see how much fun she was having and how well she was being cared for. Mia had SUCH a great time that she was actually upset when it was time to come home! đ That says everything! I couldnât be happier with the care Kristie provided, and I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to watch their pup. THANK YOU KRISTIE! đžâ¤ď¸
Tetiana was absolutely wonderful! She accepted our last-minute request to watch our Shih Tzu, Doug, while my family and I spent the day exploring Orlando. From the moment we met her, my wife and I felt completely at ease with her warm, caring demeanor and trusted her with Doug right away. She kept us updated with adorable photos throughout the day, which was such a thoughtful bonus, and she responded quickly to every text and question we had. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Doug was in such good hands. We will definitely use Tetiana again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and professional dog sitter!

Michelle was wonderful with our puppies! She had such a huge task with three of them at once on such short notice and she was amazing with them! She was able to update us as to whatâs going on and they came back after a day of fun and were ready to knock out! Couldnât recommend her enough! She even said bye to them as they were in the car! Will definitely use again when weâre in town!

Veronica was super sweet, great communication and so accommodating. She took on a last minute booking. Veronica made Sadie a room to get acclimated with her environment, before she got acclimated with Veronica. She sent me updates w pictures. But most of all she provided safe environment w lots of love for Sadie.

This was my first time using Rover, and Felipe was absolutely outstanding! He was incredibly accommodating, taking my reservation on very short notice. My two pups warmed up to him almost immediately, which was a huge relief, especially for my 2 year old, who is usually quite skeptical of new people. âFelipe provided excellent peace of mind by sending frequent photo updates of their walks and them just hanging out. He was truly fantastic with them, and Iâm already looking forward to rebooking with him whenever I need support in the future. Thank you kindly, Felipe!
Douglas was very patient with our dog Luna. He seemed knowledgeable and we felt confident in his ability to care for our dog while we enjoyed the town. We could tell he really enjoys caring for dogs. He also sent updates and pictured throughout the day which helped keep us at ease. We will book again if he will have us.

Our pup, Petra, didn't end up staying with Marie, but it was no fault of Marie's. She wasn't feeling well, and though Marie tried her very best to coax her to stay with her, she clinged to us so badly, that we and Marie decided it was best for her not to make her stay and be so stressed out. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Orlando commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
