“I can't sing praises enough for Michael. We typically make arrangements for dogsitting well in advance. This time, one of our sons was house/dogsitting. He had to be taken to the hospital, had emergency surgery, and is still hospitalized. Our other son and his family work full-time and couldn't stay at night. I made arrangements with Michael from a cruise ship in the Eastern Caribbean, which meant we couldn't do a meet and greet ahead of time. Our other son met up with Michael to introduce him to the dogs. Michael took great care of our dogs and our home while we were gone. He was very communicative. It's good to know we have an excellent option for care next time we're going away. Looking forward to actually meeting him in person next time. About: I've been pet-sitting for friends, family, and referrals for the past 10 years. Yorkies, Doodles, Dachshunds, and other mixed breed dogs, cats, and birds. I love caring for pets, especially cats and dogs and keeping them on their routines, feeling safe and loved while their owners are away. I've cared for senior dogs and have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I love taking dogs for their walks ...I personally walk 3+ miles every day and will gladly sit for dogs who love a good, long walk. I typically do overnight stays from 2 nights to 6 weeks. I am now accepting dogs, one at a time, for day sits in my home. I have a big fenced in yard and currently no pets. As a writer and yoga teacher I work from home and have lots of time to play with, walk and provide lots of loving attention to your pets. I do not currently have a pet. I used to have cats and I love all pets. I have a fenced in back yard. I typically pet sit in the pet's home when owners travel and am now offering daycare for one dog at a time in my home. I love to send pictures of the pets to their owners to let them know their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have been an animal lover since growing up in rural Florida. I have been a momma to chickens, birds, greyhounds, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I now have 2 cute cats that refuse to share their home with any canines so I figure I can get my dog hugs with this job! I want a hobby/job to keep me busy while my girls go to school. I can do dog walks, cat care, and home visits for dogs. I will do all visits in the clients' home, and all walks in the dogs' neighborhood. “Elba is the absolute best pet sitter!!!! We went away for vacation and needed around the clock care. Elba was very thorough with the instructions and information we gave her. She took care of our animals as if they were her own. She gave updates every single day and sent the best pictures. Our animals were so happy and loved while we were away. And Elba even went above and beyond when we had a tree branch from a neighboring yard fall during a storm and damage our fence. She kept me notified and sent pictures. I would absolutely recommend Elba for anyone who is looking for a trustworthy person to care for your pets! We will most definitely be using Elba in the future to take care of our fur babies!!!!!!!”

About: My family has always had dogs while I was growing up. I love all breeds of dogs and would enjoy dog sitting, dog walking, or even checking on them! My pictures include my family’s dogs. Although it looks like a lot of laying around due to her anxiety and wanting to cuddle, I do enjoy playing and going on walks with dogs. I work full time as a teacher in Osceola County. I’m typically available during most weekends. I’m also available some evenings throughout the week, after 4:30-5pm. I do not currently have pets in my home. I am willing to go to parks to walk and play, or dog parks while taking care of someone’s dog (only if they are trained and dog friendly).

“Autumn was absolutely phenomenal! She stayed at our house over the Thanksgiving holiday and took incredible care of our two dogs. She sent daily photos and videos, kept them active with walks, and gave them so much love and attention. On top of that, our home was spotless when we returned.
