With a lifetime of hands-on experience, I’ve been caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities since I was 8 years old. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I’ve done it all—training, feeding, bathing, walking, and giving every pup the love and attention they deserve. As an adult, I deepened my senior care skills by adopting an older dog from the pound—watching him blossom under my care was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Dogs naturally trust me, and I treat each one like family. In addition to my love of dogs I equally love cats having had three of my own over the course of my adulthood- Two male tabbies and one long-haired female Persian mix. Whether your dog is young, old, shy, or spirited, I provide calm, loving, reliable care tailored to their needs. Let your dog -and/or cat- feel safe, happy, and at home—even when you’re not.

Makenna took great care of my dog, Grouper, while I was away. She kept me updated, was easy to communicate with, and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Grouper came home happy and well cared for. I'd gladly have her watch him again!
Makenna dog sat for us for 4 nights and was great! She sent pictures daily and kept me in the loop. Dogs seemed happy as ever! She also was a great guest - stripped the bed before leaving and kept the house tidy. Will be rebooking. Thanks again!!!
Makenna was great with our pup. She followed our request and made sure our senior pup was well taken care of. I definitely recommend her and will be requesting her in the future.

As a self-employed person I set my own schedule and love having the flexibility to work around the needs of your pet to accommodate feedings, potty brakes and playtime.

I have a dog-friendly neighborhood I've lived in for 15 years for long walks on a leash and a serene upstairs apartment. I have years of overnight pet-sitting experience and would respect your space and care for your pet as if it were my own.
A typical day
I incorporate playtime and mental stimulation throughout the day to keep the dog healthy and engaged. If the dog is okay on a leash I like to go for long walks around a secluded neighborhood near by. I also monitor for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is always to ensure the dog feels safe, loved, and well-cared for from morning to night.
